![]() Author has written 9 stories for Pokémon. Hello! I'm SnivArtista, and I'm an amateur writer who's hoping to learn the tricks of the trade, and hopefully a few more advanced ones as well! All of my stories (with hopefully a few exceptions, though I really do doubt it), are about Pokémon. I started playing when I was eight with Pokémon Diamond Version, and by now, I've been playing for six years. Another thing that I enjoy doing is creating OCs from the characters that I play as in Pokémon. I find it a lot easier, for some reason, to create characters and shape them the way that I want, then write in the perspective of already-created characters in the games. I can change them around, give them different backgrounds, and they aren't "limited," in a strange sense. But hey, that's just me. I've created eight OCs, one for each Pokémon game that I've played. They've all changed over the years that I've been working on them, and I'm still not finished developing them. I suppose that I never will. OCs (in order of creation, and they're all girls) -Phoenix (Sinnoh, Platinum Version) -Robin (Johto, SoulSilver Version) -Lyssa (Oblivia, Pokémon Ranger Guardian Signs) -Soren (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time) -Alex (Unova, Black Version) -Nikki (Unova, Black 2 Version) -Bella (Kalos, X Version) -Nova (Hoenn, Omega Ruby Version) Another reason that I won't ever finish developing them is because as I've gotten older, all of them have changed in some way, shape, or form. This is really obvious to see in older OCs that I've been working on for years, like Phoenix and Robin. Phoenix, when she first started out, was abandoned by her father, Cyrus (yes, Cyrus, the leader of Team Galactic), and was raised by Pokémon. That turned into her being tossed into a gorge (I was nine when I first came up with this concept) where a bunch of Fighting-type Pokémon lived, and they caught her, so she survived. Then she learned how to fire beams of light from her hands by some training from Psychic Pokémon (again, a nine-year-old mind at work), her main partner was a Chatot, not a Luxray, and...etc. Now she's an agent for the International Police, an ex-Team Galactic Commander, her father is still Cyrus, but she wasn't raised by Pokémon at all, and can't shoot beams of light from her hands. Sorry, Phoenix. Oh, and she's got glasses, which is something that I decided to add a few weeks ago. Robin, on the other hand, was first a Trainer from New Bark Town...who became the Johto Champion after defeating Lance so he wouldn't have to hold position in Kanto and Johto...yes, I know. But time passed on, and eventually, Robin became a hacker who hacked into Team Rocket data using the alias "Silverbirds," has a Furret and a Napoleon complex (she's short, but tries to compensate for it by using big Pokémon like Typhlosion, Dragonite, and Mamoswine), and also has an accent, which is something that I came up with a few days ago. Anyway, I could go on and on about this, but I'm sure you get the picture. OCs are never finished. They're always works in progress, and very rarely can you say that you've gotten them the way that you like them...because they're going to change. They're just like people, because they usually are people. OCs can be pretty much anything- your OC can be an iguana that turns into a chair (and come to think of it, that's pretty cool - props to anyone who can create an OC like that). Active Stories (1) Baliar Island is basically about an island where Trainer's go to fight Gym Leaders, Contest Stars, a Pokémon League, and Frontier Brains. The story follows one Trainer's travels throughout the island: Annora, a trainer from the Kanto Region. The story contains a lot of OCs, and it draws characters from the games, anime, and various mangas in the Pokémon franchise. The latest update is Chapter 8: Voyage To Unova. Odd is a one-shot collection of my OTP, SacrificeShipping (Koya x Phoenix) in (for lack of a better word) "unusual" situations. The one-shots are usually very fluffy (yay, fluff!), contain a lot of wit and sarcasm, and the story updates whenever I have a new idea. Latest update is Pancakes. Stories on Hiatus (1) Pokémon DP Alternate is a telling of Koya's backstory (Koya, from Pokémon Diamond and Pearl Adventures) and is basically my headcanon of what happened to him before he was properly introduced in Volume 6 of the manga. The story contains one OC, Phoenix (she was mentioned at the top) and it follows Koya throughout his childhood and also tells his view of the events from Volumes 6-8 of the Pokémon DP Adventures manga, as well as a bit after. The story is currently being rewritten, (so any chapter beyond the last update isn't part of the story), and the latest update is Chapter 4: Lake Verity. DP Alternate will be continued when I have gotten further in Baliar Island. Anyway, do enjoy the stories! |
