Hi. I'm Toast. I write things sometimes.

I used to write a LOT of fanfiction back in the day, but for the last 8 or 9 years I've been focused on RPing and polishing my own ideas. Then everything changed when Korrasami became canon. Now I have some cute/cool fanfiction ideas I'd like to share with you all, so I figured I might as well throw my hat back into the FanFiction.net ring - at least for a little while. We'll see how much I do with this, but hell, for all I know, this could become a permanent little side place for me to write some fanfiction here and there to sharpen my skills and appease my inner fanboy.

Time will tell on that, but for now though, expect a new story in the coming days! "Just the Two of Us" is a cute little one shot, but it's only the beginning. I have some big plans in store as a way to pit the Avatar against a kind of foe that she disappointingly (in my opinion) never got to face and as a method to explore her new relationship with Asami while getting caught up in the chaos of another world-end scenario. If you think that sounds fun, you are absolutely right, and are also probably a little masochistic, because there is no way that this is going to go well on their first go-around.

Update - 25/05/15: So it's been a few months since Forever updated. Sure is taking forever, huh? Long story short - after taking a 2 week break to sort out what I wanted to do exactly with the latter half of the story and plotting out a basic skeleton, my life became very busy. Combine this with writer's block and an overall lack of free time and Chapter 7's been chugging along extremely slowly, but it has been chugging along. As of my writing this, 36 pages worth of material have already been written and I have at least 14 more planned before I publish, which should be comprised of two scenes primarily. Chapter 7 will be closer to 3 or 5 in construction than to 6, though it will have a little action at the start - just maybe not what you're expecting!

But it will be very character oriented and focus on four things primarily: Korrasami development, exploration of Kuvira's character, past and relationships, a brief starting look at Bopal and its dynamic, and aftermaths, both of the Chi Eater incident and Kuvira's trial, which has finally come to an end with the Great Uniter's ultimate sentence finally being announced. Basically? Drama. Lots of it. It may be the beginning of another two-parter, to be honest, but I'm not sure on that yet - but I am sure that Chapter 8 will be a bit more action-packed out of necessity. Chapter 7 lays the groundwork for 8 directly, and it demands action. It's gonna be big. But let's be honest, Chapter 6 was a pretty wild ride - a cooldown like Chapter 7 is probably a good idea. I mean, these last two months also kind of count, but for any future binge readers...

Anyway, the chapter should be up within the next week or two, schedule and motivation permitting. With any luck I won't be hit with another block or become to swamped and we can get this train on the road again. Also! I will be taking part in the Korrasami Big Bang on tumblr, contributing perhaps one or two stories to it once registration opens up in June. So you can look forward to a couple more stories from me in the world of Avatar. Sorry for moving so slowly, everybody - I hope it'll all be worth it in the end!
