FrozenTech (Noun) - Technology frozen without further update planmed; Cold Helpdesk Technician.

Well ok - thats a pretty piss poor dictionary entry - but I was trying to be clever. I go by the pen name FrozenTech because I hale from the oft chilly state of North Dakota and make my living in the Tech Support arena. I fix computers - and no, I will not fix yours. ;-)

I am currently working on "Where neither Lark nor Eagle flew" - An AU Star Trek fic based around a ship and crew of my own devising. I'm seven chapters in (surpising even myself) when I posted the original chapters, I didn't think I'd get my muse working this fast - but slow nights at work really do make for a good writing enviroment. I think I'm looking at another three chapters or so until I wrap things up - but it may stretch to four. Bonus points to anyone who can figure out where my title comes from before the final chapter (in which, such will be revealed).

After that I will continue writing about the crew of the USS Ranger - I've got at least two other stories floating around my noggin dealing with them - and I'd like a chance to flesh out some of the characters more. Right now, besides the Captain they're all people filling roles with a little bit of personality - I'd like to change that.

In this vein - for folks who are reading my current fic - if you have any interpersonal ideas or even some pairings you'd like to see (or maybe you'd just like to be imortalized as a fighter pilot - never too many of those) let me know via private message or in a review (hah, I'm a review whore) and I'll consider it. I'll also alter the A/N on the fic to reflect this, and add a A/N at the end of the fic as well once it's done.

I'm also a stupidly huge Batman/Batclan fan and while I haven't had a chance to keep up with the comics lately (and maybe I should be glad for that) I have enjoyed some of the fanfics around here and I admit to being a Bruce/Selina; Dick/Barbra; Tim/Cass fan. Ya - its not amazingly original or anything - I just think those pairs work well together so maybe at some point I'll try my hand at some Bat fiction of my own. If anyone has some ideas for a vague plot - I'd love to hear em.
