Hi there! Welcome to my profile! Stick around to get to know some things about me if you like.

My name is Ray, (that's only a nick-name, but it is what I prefer.) I'm 21 years old last July. (side note: birthday drinks are awesome!) I was born just outside of Denver Colorado in 1991 and grew up in a family of six kids, (me being the second youngest) and a single mom. My father ran out on us before I was even born, but has been in and out of my life a lot up until recently. I have a lot of little trust issues because of that, but I do my best not to let it change who I am or how I act with people, because I believe that we are who we choose to be.

I also grew up with at least a few dogs and cats in the house at all times, so I am quite an animal lover. Over the years I have owned two ferrets, five guinea pigs, three beta fish, four or five ducks, two Dalmatians, too many German Shepherds to count, and too many cats to count (usually Siamese or Bengals). Now I have two mix breed cats, Momo and Saabrina, and three German Shepherd pups, Cheyenne, Caleb, and Bobo. Animals and nature are a passion to me and I want to help to protect and preserve this earth in any way I can. I don't believe in hunting for sport and whenever I hear someone talk about it I get wrathful angry. I can spend hours upon hours in the outdoors in the company of my Cheyenne and be deeply happy.

I now live in Florida and I have for the past 12 or 13 years. I don't think I'll be moving away from Florida any time soon. My only complaint is the weather, snow for Christmas would be nice once in a while!

I have had a lot of trouble adjusting to the changes throughout my life, but I'm starting to realize that I don't hate change. I'm afraid of it, yes. But without it I get very, very depressed. I don't like my life to stay in one phase for too long, I need adventures or challenges to feel content.

I'm a very moody and day-dreamy person, I'm a writer, story-teller, and an artist. It's a part of me that I can't change no matter what.

I'm also a fighter, a protector, a servant, a guide, a lover, a shoulder, and a friend. I want to help people however I can. That is what brings me to my next topic, my goals.

When I was a child I wanted to be a super hero so badly, I wanted to save people. Then as I grew older I thought that was ridiculous. But now that I've begun to try to figure out my future, I'm brought back to that wish. I see now what to do with myself, I'm planning to take classes to become an EMT and eventually a Paramedic. To save lives, or at the very least, to give it all I've got.

Now for some lighter information.

Likes/Loves: My best friend and little sister, Mason aka Shuez, Shu Shu-EZ! My other best friend, Stewart! Music, but not the mainstream shit that the radio plays all the time. Watching T.V., but it has to be good, I'm not one of those people that will watch whatever comes on. Vinyl records. Old cars. 50's style diners and dances. Video games, but I'm picky about which ones. The outdoors, boating, swimming, taking walks through forests, national parks, biking, the beach, boogie boarding etc. Reading, fanfiction, comic books, science fiction, adventure, etc. Food. Slash. Singing and dancing. Being a goofball with my friends. Jesus, but I'm not overly religious about it, I just know he loves me and I love him. Animals. And a lot more, but that's it for now.

I'm very prone to fan-girling out about things, a few of my fandoms are:

(T.V., Movies and Comics) Psych, How I Met Your Mother, Supernatural, Heroes, Lost, Teen Titans (the anime and the old comics), Ghost Busters, The IT Crowd, Back to the Future 1 2 and 3, The Prestige, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Napoleon Dynamite, Terminator 2, The New Recruits/The New Mutants, the 90's X-men, X-men Evolution, Streetfighter, DragonBall Z and GT, the 90's Spiderman, and recently I've been watching and am now kind of addicted to the U.S. version of The Inbetweeners (Will and Neil are my favorites! They're both so cute!), and that's all I can think of right now.

(Game Fandoms) UNCHARTED 3 Drake's Deception!!! I'm freaking crazy for that game, I seriously have trouble NOT talking about it. The Legend of Zelda, Capcom Vs. Marvel, Virtua Fighter, the old Streetfighter games, the Elder Scrolls Oblivion. I'm sure there are more but that's all for now.
