Yukino is now a 20 year old college sophomore. She's taken a more active role in her family without neglecting the friends she's made. In a sense, Yukino has found her place. Hachiman encounters a weirdo. Inexplicably, he seeks to spend more time with her. Eventually, he discovers he may have found someone he can call a friend. Perhaps the genuine thing he seeks is finally near. No OCs. Crossover with Watamote.

Future fic. At the end of high school, Hachiman never did forsake his philosophy. He and Yukino part ways to pursue the lives of loners. Years later, they meet again, but there is no possibility of an innocent high school romance now. Rated for adult themes.
