I've really enjoyed writing Twilight fanfic, but I've decided to pursue writing original fiction. Even though I'm not as active in the fandom any more, I have known to lurk around Edwardville at livejournal. Those ladies are a riot and they have excellent taste in stories.

Even though I don't plan on writing anymore Twilight fanfic, my stories will stay here. They won't be pulled or reworked as something else. Twilight fanfic holds a special place in my regard and I want them to stay that way.

I haven't flounced or left the fandom. I'm just...pursuing other things.

It's been a year since I've posted anything and it surprises me to receive any reviews for my stories. The Twilight fandom is mercurial at best and it's nice to see my stories haven't been completely phased out. Yet. :)

Author's Note: My Brother's Best Friend was my first attempt at Twilight fanfic. I was getting tired of reading stories where Bella and Edward have an instant attraction and then get to the sexing rtfn. So, rather then lamenting over the loss of UST in stories, I sat down and wrote MBBF. It was supposed to be a summer distraction, but two years, one kid, and various RL issues later, it's finished. Thank you all for sticking with the story. I'm so grateful that you all gave MBBF a chance.

Originally, One Cup was a story idea I had while I was writing MBBF, but only wrote the first two scenes before I realized that although I don't mind reading about high school stories, I didn't really want to write one. I'm so grateful that it's been received so well. I'm sorry to say that I don't have any plans to continue it, but thank you for reading.

For this story, I had the gas station scene in mind for a very long time. I just didn't have any context for it. When I discovered this contest, and started writing the story, this scene became a part of it and all the other parts fell into place.
