So many good, quality fics aren’t getting the attention they deserve and are considered under-the-radar, and most of the time all a fic needs is exposure—a site to review it, a person to rec it, or even just have it tweeted about.

The LUV'NV is going to help by doing all of the above! A LUV'NV staff member will read the story, and if it meets our standards and advocate requirements, she'll write a review and post the story as an “Advocated Fic.” Then for two weeks, The LUV’NV will:
— Feature it at the top-right of the site (similar to a “Fic of the Week”),
— Tweet about it twice a day under The LUV'NV's twitter account, and
— Have it rec’d in any new chapters of all advocating staff fics (if the advocators update in those two weeks, that is).
— Also have it shown on our sister site The Wayward Pushers.

We want to give maximum exposure for quality, little known fics. Yet, we also want keep the feature distinguished and for special stories. The de Vill's AdVocate only posts every other Sunday.

Advocate story requirements:
— Must have at least five chapters posted.
— Cannot have more than 500 reviews nor an average of 25 reviews per chapter upon submission. For example, a ten chapter fic with 450 reviews will not qualify. That's an average of 45 reviews per chapter and cannot be considered under-appreciated.
— Has not won any awards. Nominations are fine, but winning an award or contest disqualifies the story for advocation.
— The main pairing is not Edward and Bella. The fic may contain the canon couple, but The LUV'NV features stories that do not revolve around E/B (except during Deviant months).
— Must have the proper content warnings near the top of the first chapter. The vague "dark themes" is unacceptable.
