When Mac neglects to report an illness to Matty; she institutes new rules that have a less than desirable effect on Mac. This story is weaved around the first two episodes of Season 2 so the first several chapters will be missing scenes to set up the story. All tagged characters will eventually appear in the story. I am horrified to learn that Jack's character may be leaving the show! I mean, Mac without Jack is like PB without J, Oreos without the creamy middle, a BL without the T, so this is a story about how friends and loved ones stick around, even when things get tough.

They may not have tried to hurt him intentionally, but their actions could not have cut deeper than by confirming his suspicions–he was tolerated because of the things he could do, but he had no real friends on Atlantis. Replacing him was enough of a hint
