AUTHOR'S NOTES

Anyhoo, 1st things 1st, I'm going to kick off with some things I want to get off my chest & I won't be repeating these in my posts:

i) Everything you read here, will be strictly AU. Don't like it, don't read it.

ii) There will be slash - again, don't like it, don't read it.
Ok, most of them will be slash, except for the ones dedicated to my favourite she-wolf, Leah. S Meyer may not like or approve of it, but I do. I'm a "slash whore/addict" & basically, what I write here goes ... Besides, some characters were born/created to be "slashed" !

iii) Anything S Meyer wrote after "New Moon" I totally deny its existence. There will be:
- no pansy-arsed, lily-livered, wimpy vampires able to impregnate any equally pansy-arsed, lily-livered, whiny, pathetic humans here;
- that godsawful, abhorrent freak of nature, the Demon Spawn, a.k.a. Renes-whatsit, will not exist here and if she does, hell, it won't be for long;
- and finally, there will be no imprinting on anyone under the age of 15 - 'cause imprinting on kids, esp. babies is just plain sick in my mind. Totally & utterly wrong on all levels.

iv) There will be Cullen & Bella bashing - with the sole exceptions of Jasper & Rosalie, who I do actually like, 'cause shock, horror, I actually find them to be very fascinating vamps with an interesting past/back story. I'm sorry to anyone who actually cares for the likes of Edweird & Bleugh-a for being blunt, but I honestly LOATHE them with a deep and relentless passion. They bug the hell out of me.

So, anything you don't agree with here, you should know the drill by now: Don't like it, don't read it.

Ok ... so I'm guessing you're all probably thinking, "if she rabidly dislikes most of what S Meyer's written so far, why the hell is she bothering to write any Twilight fanfic ?"

It's simple. Two words, actually. WOLF PACK ! There. I've said it. I'm a "pack girl" through 'n' through. In my opinion, they're the best thing in the Twilight books. Just love them.

Paul, the Pack's original big, bad wolf is my muse. I adore him and his volatile passion - definitely my favourite character.

Leah's another I have a massive soft spot for. Hate the way S Meyer kept continually shafting & denying her any form of happiness. It was just cruel & so very wrong, esp. when Leah's such a strong, intelligent & fiesty character. Hopefully here, I may be able to re-address the balance & right some of the wrongs Leah was dealt with in the books.

I'm also very fond of Jacob. Though I hated the way SM effectively castrated our true Alpha by making him imprint on that damn spawn. She missed a great opportunity to have him imprint on a brilliant character who was already in the series - LEAH ! Basically, SM emasculated a potentially strong character & ruined him for me as a reader. Harsh of me, I know, but that's how I feel.

Jared's simply lovely. A really good-natured, bright character with a heart of gold that I can't help but like.

And finally, Sam. I've kinda done a massive u-turn lately, when it comes to Sam. At first, after what he did to Leah, I hated him, but having read some really great fanfics here, he has grown on me. A lot. I guess, that's probably why my next fic, will revolve around him & a certain hot-headed pack member ! ;)

Favourite Fic Pairings

Slash: Paul/Jasper; Paul/Sam. Basically, Paul with any of those two, either as a dom or sub.

And if anyone's stumbled across any Sam/Jasper fics or Paul/Jared ones, I'd love to hear about it (crosses fingers & hopes for the best)

Het: Leah/Paul; Leah/Sam (preferably where Sam denies his imprint with Emily, or Emily simply doesn't exist); Leah/Jasper.

Twilight characters I REALLY loathe with a passion ?

1) Edweird - a selfish, sanctimonious, patronizing, controlling mind-rapist with stalker tendencies;
2) Bleugh-a - completely self-absorbed, whiny, weak, indecisive girl who has no consideration for anyone but herself. The way she treated Charlie was just plain cruel & disrespectful;
3) The Spawn - purely for existing in the 1st place;
4) Emily - definitely not the "saint" she's portrayed as. A sly, conniving, back-stabbing, man-stealing trollop with no respect or loyalty towards her blood kin & their feelings. Not only that, she abuses the concept of being an imprint & uses it at every given opportunity as a free pass to do whatever the hell she pleases. "No one can deny an imprint ... We had no choice ... yada yada yada ..." In a word ? Just total B.S. !

Finally & shockingly ... Twilight Vamps I GENUINELY like/liked ?

1) Jasper - this Southern gent's definitely the 'verse's sexiest vamp. Scarred, yet drop-dead gorgeous; brave; intelligent; loyal & although quiet, whenever he speaks, what he says is worth paying attention to. What's not to like ?
2) Rosalie - the vamp equivalent of my favourite she-wolf. Feisty; smart; courageous; with a kind & loving heart underneath her glacial exterior. Not only that, she has the patience of a saint, having to put up with Emmett ...
3) Emmett - may not be as smart as Jazz & Rose, but when it comes to devotion to his loved ones, he can't be beaten. Also, extremely funny & an over-all great character to know & like;
4) Demetri - resilient & intelligent. And also very intriguing.
