Hello all,

Well I'm new to the site but not to writing or fanfiction. I'm 25 and writing my first full length novel, so fanfiction writing is slow but I promise to try and get to it as often as possible without my editor having a coniption fit. :)

My stories will likely be mostly NCIS, X-men, and Harry Potter. I'm a bit of a shipper, but I'm more partial to a well told story than anything. And if it can't well written then at least it should be funny. :D

So the good news is that I have two different stories being written for Harry Potter and I will FINALLY have something on here other than a collection of my favorites. LOL. The bad news is that I am 80% done with my first novel and it has to take precedence over fanfiction. But I am making an effort to put some time into getting the fics edited and posted. So hopefully we'll see the fruits of said labor soon! :)

While I am effectively bogged down with my own writings I do enjoy reading others. It relaxes me. Which is pretty funny when you think about it. I take a break from my job by engaging in half of said job. LOL.

Anyhoo, while reading through some amazing fics I have come to a conclusion... I want to issue a couple of writing challenges! I read other people's all the time and they fascinate me. I love seeing what different people can do with the same parameters. So without further ado, my challenges:

Challenge 1- Write a HHr crossover fic with Twilight. I'm tired of the over load of HG/RHr crossovers. Harmonians love a good crossover too!

RULES

1) Must be Harmony (Harry/Hermione) through and through. No flirting with other people, no starting or straying to other characters. Pure Harmony.

2) All vampire pairings must be cannon. That means Edward/Bella. Werewolf pairings can be as you see fit, if you really want them in the story.

3) Whether or not vampires have souls needs to be addressed. They're going to be in a world that has every last resource possible for such research... why wouldn't they find that out?

4) Must use the following conversation: "That's suicide!" "Only if I die."

5) Bella must be magical.

6) The Hogwarts crew already knows Bella.

7) Must take place in the Wizarding World for the majority of the story. I've never even been there, but I find Forks as dreary as Bella does.

8) Must include a scene with Bella and Jasper rocking out to 'Sensurround' by They Might Be Giants.

9) Must at least be after 'Twilight' and GoF.

Pick and Choose

(pick all, pick some, pick none! it's up to you!)

1) Bella has a special connection with Fawkes.

2) Harry uses a patronus to kill Voldemort.

3) Hermione's mind scares Edward.

4) Luna pets Jasper and says, "Good boy."

5) Emmett has a bromance with the Weasley twins.

6) Harry and Bella have a special bond.

7) Harry has a special quidditch move called 'The Fools Drop', that causes Hermione to have a fit by the mere mention of it's name.

8) Bella asks Emmett and Jasper to keep hold of Edward while she's flying.

9) Bella finds out Harry and Hermione have been dosed with love potions previously and is PISSED.

10) McGonagall gets a nervous twitch.

11) Dragon's blood gets rid of the blood lust for the Cullens.

12) Rosalie and Fleur eye each other into an understanding about being 'the most beautiful woman' causing Edward to break into hysterics.

13) Jasper gives Esme a hug in gratitude for being nothing like Molly Weasley.

14) Remus becomes the second werewolf the Cullens actually like. Seth being the first.

15) Bella has been previously informed about Sirius Black's death if you choose to keep him dead.

16) Begins in Forks with Bella and the Cullens, including her having to explain to them that she is a witch.

17) Includes either the lead up(horcrux hunt) to and the finale battle or just the finale battle itself.

18) Bella is actually be graceful on a broom.

19) One character must have an odd obsession with the board game Clue.

20) Werewolf involvement.

(Note: I don't particularly care for bashing, but I understand that people feel that some characters practically beg for it.)

21) Weasley bashing.

22) Dumbledor bashing.

I hope some of you will take this challenge and really make it rock! Please do message me if you take up this challenge I would love to read it! My biggest hope is that the Twilight characters get fleshed out a bit. They all always seem one dimensional to me, particularly Bella. I hope to that someone takes this and gives them some in-depth personality.
