I'm PaintedAutumn, but you can just call me Autumn, if you need to address me for whatever reason. Autumn is an awesome name; I wish it was mine. You don't have to know my real name, first or last. Or middle, for that matter. Point is, you don't have to know anything about me. But I'll tell you this; I'm blonde and quite tall. I'm not telling you my eye color, or my skin color, or my hair length, 'cause you don't need to know that.

You know what else you don't need to know? How I came up with my pen name. But I'm telling you that anyway. Y'see, I just so happened to be staring at a painting on my wall when I signed up. The painting was mainly yellow, orange, red, and all those other lovely fall colors. And you know what? I'm actually happy that I just so happened to be staring to my right when I joined. PaintedAutumn is a pretty awesome pen name, is it not? I'm surprised it wasn't taken.

Instead of telling you all the normal stuff, like my favorite band, my favorite foods, my favorite color, my favorite movie, and the like, I'm going to tell you random stuff about me, 'cause I'm random and original.

I love my iPod Touch. I have to charge it every other day; that's how much I use it. My favorite game is Doodle Jump. It's awesome and addicting. I hate those little red buzzy things that float around in the middle of nowhere. I also hate the blue things that bounce across the screen. I love the vanishing steps and the large floating green monster; 'cause it's cute. And yes, I'm talking about the game. What else would I be talking about, silly?

I love semi-colons, they're the best punctuation mark EVER. ;;;;;;;;; See? Pure awesomeness.

Now for the regular stuff. This is the only regular thing that I'm going to tell you; and that is that I hang mostly around the Hunger Games section. Why? Because those fics are interesting and most (MOST) are original. You can also find me around the Glee section and the Harry Potter and Artemis Fowl section; because they rock. There's that semi-colon again. Also, I read FanFiction a lot more than I write it. I'm not the biggest fan of my writing skills.

My Take on Submit-Your-Own-Character Fics

When I say SYOC, I basically mean Submit-Your-Own-Tribute, because those are the most popular SYOCs. Sure, I've seen a few Warriors ones, but those are almost always fails. You need forty to eighty cats to get those going. Anyways, I've seen a lot of people going around reporting these kind of fics, because they're "interactive". Well, in my opinion, no, they aren't. The reader really doesn't do much. Is submitting a character to another author's story really a FF.net crime?
