DECEMBER 15TH - It's my thirteenth birthday! I am now an official teenager! My parents got me a laptop and a new book (The Summoning, ever heard of it?) and DorkAndProudOfIt got me a new cellphone! Isn't she great?

Hi there! My name is Jenna and I am new to this site. I turn thirteen on December fifteenth so technically I am old enough to join this site. I haven't written much stories but I hope that I can make some friends and receive some good criticism. I know you probably don't care what I look like, but I'll add a brief description for no reason: I have caramel coloured hair and aqua coloured eyes that sometimes look greenish under a certain light.

I usually use certain techniques to write and review. First, when I write, I plan out everything carefully. I make sure that I proofread my work and edit as much as I can to make it my best work. After I'm done, I come up with a good summary that gives the readers enough hints about the story but not enough to give away anything. Next, to review, I give good criticism but not flames. I make sure to add at the end a short note saying how I don't ever mean to be rude or discouraging. If it's a good story, I give at least five reasons why I like it and maybe one tip on how the author can improve. If it's not so good, I explain what needs to be improved in numbered steps (1, 2, 3...) thoroughly so the author knows what I'm talking about.

I usually write about The Vampire Diaries, Harry Potter, Shiver, and Alvin And The Chipmunks. For The Vampire Diaries my favourite couple to write about is Delena (Damon/Elena) because I just think Stefan is just plain boring sometimes. Damon really adds spice to the show and his relationship with Elena is still leaning towards a lot of romance. For Harry Potter my favourite couple to write about is usually Harry/Hermione because they are both hard-working and Harry doesn't just let stuff go like Ron does. I mean, Harry and Hermione have actually shown several signs of romance in the HP series. For Shiver my favourite couple to write about is actually a love triangle between Sam/Grace/Shelby because I can just see it now: Sam and Grace are just together blah blah blah and then Shelby comes in and messes everything up which adds so much drama. For AATC my favourite couple to write about is all of them. I mean, the Chipmunks and Chipettes are too young for real relationships and there isn't really any part of the show of movie that shows how attached they are to a certain chipmunk. They are still open to the freedom of choice, unlike Grace and Sam (for example) who have said so many times how much they will stay together forever (which I think is so cute!).

I really hate when people don't add enough detail. Their excuses are always, "I'm new here!" Seriously? So what? I'm new here, too! I make sure to add just enough detail that a story should include. If you ever receive a review saying something like, "This needs a lot of work", don't be mad. I'm just trying to help. I'd even include a detailed description of what to fix. I also hate when authors are rude to other authors. I mean, I've heard about this one girl named Angel who was apparently mean to authors named ChipmunksChipettes4Life, DorkAndProudOfIt, ChipmunksChipettes4Ever, and AbigailSeville24. She was so mean to them! I was hoping to get an account so I could send her a long message telling her exactly what she did wrong until I heard everything was fixed. I was like, "Oh. Okay." Also, I hate liars. People who say stuff like they are related to fictional characters. This one girl said she was Harry Potter's twin sister but she was, like, five! And according to my friend there was a girl in the AATC archive saying that she was the Chipmunks' sister. I didn't believe her, because no one would say THAT. Trust me, unless they were seven or something.

My Opinion On Different Alvin and the Chipmunks Couples:

The Original Couples: I honestly don't have a problem with them. They all seem good for each other because their personalities match. Alvin and Brittany are both divas, Simon and Jeanette share the same interests, and Theodore and Eleanor are already best friends so why shouldn't they be together?

The Mixed Couples: Who made these up? I like these couples but I don't like these couples. The only ones I like are Alvin/Eleanor, Theodore/Jeanette, and Simon/Eleanor. I like Alvinor because Alvin and Eleanor both like soccer and aren't afraid of a challenge. I like Theonette because both of these chipmunks are shy and caring. I like Simonor because Eleanor is a very logic person and when you think of it, she knows how to solve problems just like Simon. The one I hate is Theodore/Brittany. In what way would they get along? Their personalities are opposite and why would Brittany have time for Theodore, when she could be off making millions with Alvin or Simon. Theodore needs a down-to-earth girl like Jeanette or Eleanor. To some people, they work. To me, they don't. Wasn't the point of the Chipmunks having counterparts for them to end up with those girls? Why would they switch them up?

The Fan-Made Couples: These couples are definitely the worst. I hate when people make up fan characters and put them with the Chipmunks. I mean, they even make their characters Mary-Sues, which is, in my opinion, horrible. No one cares if your character is a vampire or they know everything! I make up characters that aren't even close to perfect. No one is perfect, guys. Especially not fan-made characters, no matter how pretty or smart they are. You should always say at least three bad things about your character to make them seem realistic. Even Bella Swan has something bad about her! She's extremely clumsy! My list of well-developed characters could go on...Even if they aren't Mary-Sues, they shouldn't end up with the Chipmunks. Being their long-lost sibling or mother or cousin or whatever is okay, but not their girlfriend. The Chipmunks are the Chipettes' boyfriends/husbands. Simple as that.

As you can see, my username is Neon Necklace. A bunch of you are probably wondering why I would pick something like that. Well, first of all, I'm not a big fan of darker colours. I love colours that are bright, jumpy, and just really exciting! And colours that fit that description are neon colours! Neon colours bring life to pictures and anything involving colours. For example, I love neon pink, neon purple, neon blue, neon yellow, neon green, and a lot more! And also I have a lot of necklaces and one has neon colours. It actually looks a bit like the necklace in my profile picture.

My Current Story

A Delena Story

There is two chapters up, with exactly 4324 words in chapter one and 4744 words in chapter two, so there's 9068 words in total. I try to get at least 4000 words in each chapter. The main couples are (of course) Damon/Elena, Stefan/Bonnie, Katherine/Elijah, Klaus/Elizabeth, and Jenna/Alaric. Elizabeth is the original doppelganger's name. Well, I made up the name. She isn't really an OC because she is basically a VD character that was mentioned. All I made up was the name. Assuming that there are two girls that look exactly like her she might be a little evil and bossy. Klaus is the first vampire and Elizabeth is the second. If you want a preview to the story, PM me and I'll give you a little bit of the upcoming chapter.

The characters have a certain look to them that kind of combines the book and TV show looks. I'll give you their descriptions here:

Damon: Semi-long black hair; Light blue eyes; Pale; Muscular

Stefan: Light brown hair; Greenish-blue eyes; Pale; Semi-muscular

Bonnie: Dark, black hair; Green eyes; Dark skin; Not too thin; Short

Caroline: Blonde hair; Blue eyes; Really pale; Really skinny; Tall

Katherine: Long, brown hair; Deep brown eyes; Pale skin; Skinny; Tall

Klaus: White-blonde hair; Electric blue eyes; Pale; Tall; Strong

Elijah: Brown hair; Dark eyes; Fake tan; Strong

Jenna: Brown hair; Hazel eyes; Tan; A bit short

Alaric: Sandy-brown hair; Light eyes; A bit tan; Tall

I want this story to be at least 30 chapters. It will be full of romance, heartbreak, drama, supernatural stuff, and much more. And I might even include links to images of how I picture the characters.

Another Damon/Elena story, but this time more violent and probably won't have as much romance as A Delena Story. I want this to be 5 chapters exactly, because it is only a short story. I'll start it after my other story and this section will have more information.
