Hola! Welcome to my profile of sorts! I suppose I should tell you about myself, shouldn't I?

Name: Laurel (just call me L-chan, I guess).

Age: Fourteen, if it really matters.

Appearance: Short. Brown hair. Glasses. HAH. How's that, internet stalkers? Just kidding. Though I do get bugged for being short. And my hair is really brown. It's pretty unruly, as in extremely curly. And lately, it's been quite humid. Shoot me. Also, my eyes are a strange sort of blue-green-grey-brown color, that mostly just stays within the green-blue range. They change colors often. I don't know if I'm fat or not, but at least I can play Volleyball.

Likes: Food, books, the internet, GaiaOnline (for the most part - My UN is Colorful Grass Clippings), animals (especially birds, dogs, and horses), water and earth (as in the elements), doing things that pass the time, but are also somewhat constructive, waking up earlier than everyone else, Volleyball, art, music, anime/manga, rainy weather, and good grammar.

Dislikes: Annoying people, mean/rude people, being hungry, cramps, running long distances, push-ups, when the internet dies for no real reason, extreme heat and/or humidity, tornadoes or otherwise uber-destructive weather, ignorant rap (there's good rap songs, believe me!), nothing-fights, and really spicy food.

Hobbies: Drawing, singing, playing my instruments (there's like...five of them), writing, reading, role-playing, video games, playing Volleyball (I have the bruises to prove it!), sprinting, eating, hanging out with my friends, being a superhero, riding horses (when I can), and just being me, I guess.

Favorite Band: Oh for the love of Holy Massachusetts, there's way too many to name. Let's just say I like Rock, Country, Pop, and J-Rock/Pop, mmm'kay?

Favorite Anime/Manga: My top three would have to be...Tokyo Mew Mew, Ouran High School Host Club, and Naruto. So much insanity!!

Favorite Food: Food in general. I'll eat pretty much anything, as long as it's not dairy, and does not contain unions. And nothing uber-spicy. I can't handle the heat (and yes, I did leave the kitchen, and I came back when they made ice cream).

Favorite Occupation: Novelist, Artist, Musician, and Teacher. All of which I aspire to be.

Well, profiles are nice, but I also just like to talk. Or type, whatever the media may be. Sometimes, my writing even comes out sloppy, because I just keep adding so much! Trust me, if you met me in person, you'd agree that I talk WAY too much. I probably may seem like either really smart, or a total retard. I suppose it depends on my mood at the time, but you can bet that I'm pretty bipolar. My taste in music is pretty epileptic, too. Oh, and I enjoy crack pairings. Very much so, indeed. And the people who can make those pairings work deserve a jar of cookies. Speaking of cookies...I'm hungry. But that's not new. I'm always hungry, aren't I? Hmm...I really do want a cookie, though.

I enjoy role-playing a lot. Especially if you're literate. Seriously, find me on Gaia, my username is Colorful Grass Clippings. I'm probably totally willing to join your role-play, or just to RP privately. I swear, role-playing gets my creative juices flowing. That, and music, but that's another story.

Is anyone else here completely in love with Arina Tanemura's illustrations? I swear, I use her art for practically every character that I don't draw myself. And I'm lazy. But I'm also a perfectionist, which is why my work is usually never posted.

I enjoy the guitar. I practice every night, until my fingers bleed. That getting exceedingly hard, seeing as my fingertips have completely calloused over, so I guess I just practice until I can feel my fingers, but you get the idea.

Yes, I know that I'm just randomly firing off thoughts here, but that's what I do. I hope you'll get used to it, if you decide to stay.

Okay, I'm sure you guys are wondering, but I'm not really dead. I'm quite busy lately, because we're moving soon. I will update my two stories, and I have some more to come out.

Current projects that I'm working on:

Tokyo Mew Mew: Reload - Tokyo Mew Mew - After the aliens and the Rose Crusaders leave, Tokyo is at peace again, so the mews get back to their old lives. All seems well for many years, until a new threat emerges. The old mews don't have their powers anymore, so who will save Tokyo this time? Time to call the New Mew squad - the original mews' kids! -First chapter still in progress; it'll be a while-

Title yet to be thought of - Redwall - Follows the story of a headstrong squirrelmaid and her otter friend as they journey to Redwall, and fight the evil forces that have been ravaging Mossflower for far too long. -Currently in the planning process-

Star-Crossed Lovers - Naruto - A shinobi rendition of the classic story of two star-crossed lovers, whose love could not be, due to their families' endless feud (Romeo and Juliet). Original dialogue, and will have side notes for more difficult phrases. -Currently being written- NaruSaku

Title yet to be thought of - Naruto - The story of the Rookie Nine's offspring. Watch them learn, watch them grow, watch them beat the snot out of each other, watch them fall in love - you know the drill. NaruSaku, NejiTen, TemaShika, GaaHina, and KakaAnko. American Mew Mew - Tokyo Mew Mew - Tokyo isn't the only city that's got troubles. What about America? Will these small-town girls add up to the challenge they've been given, or will they fall under the pressure? -Currently being written-

Strawberry Shinobi - Tokyo Mew Mew/Naruto Crossover - Ichigo and the gang (featuring some new faces) run to the Cafe, after Ryou tells them that he's had a major breakthrough, and invented something that could solve their alien problem once and for all. He built a machine that could teleport them to the aliens' dimention! But what happens when this machine doesn't zap them to their desired location? Sesshoku sono Kumo - Ouran High School Host Club - AU - Star Five was known as the most popular band of their generation. But when their frontman disappears, the band breaks up and goes their separate ways. A year later, all but their singer reunite to become Sesshoku sono Kumo - Touch the Clouds. With a whole new sound and style, how will they fare in the music world? Especially when all of their recording sessions are spent with their new rival band, The Host Club? -Second chapter in process-

Also, I'm deleting Background Music, to replace it with another 100-theme challenge. Well, actually, it's the same challenge, but with strictly SasuHina, rather than ?Hina. I also plan on doing a TemaShika and NaruIno. So watch out for those, eventually.
