My entry for the Writer's Challenge, A Brother's Grief. I loved the idea for this challenge simply because I think a lot of people have lost site of who these character really are at their core. Deep, traumatized, scarred... There was a reason we fell in love with the characters and it had nothing to do with smut. So, they have genitalia. It's been established. They go beyond that.

Carol and Daryl navigate the minefield that is their early relationship in a series of snapshot chapters. Rating for adult themes and language.

"Pretty hot," she mused with a teasing grin. Carol shielded her eyes and innocently surveyed the sun rising high overhead. She didn't miss, though, the way his face reddened just a little too much to blame on the heat. (S3 Caryl)

Set about a week after the events in Graveyard Dirt & Salt. Daryl wakes up and things are decidedly different at the convent. Rated M for language, because of the Dixon's and their pretty (but dirty) mouths.

This fic is a re-write of Daryl's scenes from Inmates, Still and Alone to show how things would have been different if Carol was with him. These episodes were difficult for many Carylers, not only because Carol wasn't there but because Daryl was very OOC. I hope to rectify that and indulge my fellow Carylers with a taste of what we would have preferred to happen.

Daryl takes an unexpected dip in a creek in the dead of winter. Caryl.

They were drunk. In-between seasons 3 and 4. Kind of a crack-fic. Caryl-y.

It was the freckles that did him in. The urge to touch her speckled skin was almost overwhelming.

Addison dreamt of a man in a tan trenchcoat telling her she isn't entirely human. But her life is drastically changed forever when the same man shows up and saves her from two demons. She learns that heaven needs her help and she doesn't really get a say in the matter. But soon Castiel finds himself wanting to protect her and goes against his orders from heaven.

"Daryl?" Her fingers reached thoughtlessly for the rounded firmness of his shoulder before she remembered and snatched them away. It wasn't like it used to be, and some cruel part of her wondered if it had ever really been anything at all. Still, he found her. He always did. Caryl, set two years after the events of 4.08.

"The adrenaline-fueled resolution that charged his limbs lapsed step by step until the frantic brunt of his gait devolved into an angled stumble. With a guttural rustle, his stomach jolted, cheeks puffed, knees buckled and he keeled over on all fours, puking fluids." Daryl confronts Rick and busts out of the prison gates to track Carol only to come across with his worst nightmare.

This starts as an alternate version of the flirting-on-the-bus scene from 3x01. Daryl decides to get even. Rating for potty mouth and sexy adult themes.

Carol manages to convince a reluctant Daryl to dance with her one evening, but nothing ever comes easy for her. Early S3 Caryl fluff.

A few months after the Woodbury group arrive the prison gets overrun. He doesn't know if it was an act of stupidity or betrayal that caused it. All he knows is that the end result was him losing everything. Or did he? This is a Caryl one shot so if you don't like Caryl then move on.

They could be dead tomorrow so why not, right? Takes place at the quarry. I wasn't going to post this since it was just a little something I wrote to cheer up my best friend but the few that read it say I should share with the rest of you. So this is me, sharing away. A bit of fluff at the end. If you aren't into Caryl then move on!

This is a season two based "what if" story. What if Daryl brought Sophia back alive and well and what if the farm hadn't been overrun? Just something that has been bouncing around in my head for a while. It wont be any more than two chapters. Caryl all the way so if that isn't your thing then move on! Rating will most likely change depending on what people want to read.

Picking up exactly where we left off at the end of Season 7, Cas and Dean are stranded together in Purgatory struggling both to save their lives and their friendship amidst constant peril. That is actually one of my better summaries. Good for me. M for violence, sex and generally dark themes.

Oneshot. Merle is tired of his brother and Carol acting like a couple of kids that can't admit their "feelings", so he decides to do his little brother a favor and intervene. By making Daryl think that he's getting the goods himself. Caryl, of course. (Just a little something I did for fun.)

A hunt gone wrong leaves Cas with a broken leg. Cas is finding it difficult to cope with his human limitations. Dean is surprisingly good at being needed. And Sam is the sane one. The "saving people and hunting things" has to go on somehow, broken leg or not!

A Marine comes across two half-dead men in the middle of the woods and suddenly finds himself in the middle of a war he didn't know was being waged just outside his front door. In the midst of it a tale that contains pretty white river flowers and a lost little girl. Rated for language and perhaps more. Set after the Dixon Brothers tangle with the Governor.

Daryl tries to come to terms with the loss of his brother and, of course, it is a journey he strongly believes he should walk alone. But when she finds him there, next to her own grave, her kindness guides him out of the dark. Sometimes, in mourning, we see things in a different light. It doesn't have to be understood right away to be real.

Tomorrow they would fight. Tomorrow they could die. And she may never get another chance to show him how much he means to her. Post-3x13 Caryl oneshot. Adult-content warning.

Following the life of Emily, a supernatural-born hunter, as she travels alongside the Winchesters in search of John. After forging a sister-like bond with the brothers, Emily finds herself tied to their fate. And bound to their curse. M for 'Just in case

Dean did some things down there in the pit, horrible things. The scary part is that despite his best efforts at denial, he truly misses it. But Castiel knows exactly what Dean is - imperfect, human, and beautiful. He will restore Dean to his former glory because that's why he raised him from perdition in the first place.

Drabble. Castiel watches Anna kissing Dean. And he's jealous.

It's easier for Dean to take in Castiel's beautiful features when the angel's eyes are closed. Dean lets his hands and soft words speak after all the times he has held his tongue. Destiel fluff.

After Castiel dies in season 7, Dean looks back on his friendship with Castiel, everything that had gone unsaid, and the nights they had spent together.

After coming back from Purgatory, Cas is weakened, and Dean thinks Cas should hold back on using his angel mojo until he's fully recovered which means learning to live as a human; showers, changing clothes, shaving.

Dean prays to Castiel every night in Purgatory. Castiel hears everything. And even after they find eachother, Dean keeps praying.

It's not the monsters that keep Dean fighting in Purgatory. Basically a result of sitting outside after 8x02 and having too many Destiel feels to function.

"Whats the matter?" There was a pause as Castiel stared at Dean with an intensity the hunter would one day come to be familiar with. Blue eyes widened slowly as realization seemed to dawn on him. When Dean was stuck in purgatory, he had pleasant dreams each time he slept. He dreamed he was in a field of daisies sitting next to Cas, on a hill, under a big oak tree. The dreams were ironically perfect and he never wanted it to end.
