Vol is a 25-year-old college graduate who has no freaking clue what to do with her life and no intentions of ever taking herself seriously.

Vol lives in Canada, where she studies archaeology and mythology, and spends a lot of time banging rocks together and writing papers about it. She has a strange fascination with little boxes (especially locked ones), old junk, history, mythology, fairy tales, people visiting other worlds, superheroes, aliens, robots with souls and the smell of lilacs. She keeps a variety of lizards in her house, and has so far managed to kill three of the only four houseplants she has ever owned (the fourth is alive and doing well).

Some of Vol's artwork can be seen at Kenthayle at DeviantArt. The rest is hidden in a box under her bed, where it gives small children nightmares and shakes the dishes in old ladies' china cabinets at night.

NEWS: June 8, 2010

A'right, freaks and geeks, I'm going to take a moment and pretend people actually read my profile. Here's the scoop:

I graduated, hooray! Now I'm fleeing the country. Don't worry, I'll be back. But I'll continue to be busy for the foreseeable future. So here's how the deal is going to go down. Valiant is still on hiatus, and will be until further notice. My head's just not up in Narnia right now, and in the rare moments I have for myself right now I'm not going to force it. The Human's Guide to Understanding Autobots (or HGtUA), is coming along piece by piece but I don't know if I'll have enough to post a decent chapter before I go. Lastly, Metamorphosis is the one I'm currently working on: it's coming along slowly, but I'll probably have chapter 2 up before I leave.

Who knows what I'll be up for when I get back? Once again, Reviews are love and peace out, ya'll.

Valiant (On HIATUS)
Lucy the Valiant returns alone to a Narnia much different than she remembers, and learns the fate of her dearest friend the Faun Tumnus, whom they never found after the defeat of the White Witch ...

I feel I must nod out to someone before much more time goes by ... No small part of "Valiant" was inspired by AvinWaters' fic "In Silence Await Me", in which Tumnus' statue is found during the Golden Age, when Lucy is an adult. I read this fic a year ago, and it set the first niggling ideas for Valiant tumbling around my head (yes, it was what is now Ch. 2 ... how ever did you guess?). I didn't find it again until recently, and I want to put this disclaimer here: I LOVED AvinWaters' fic (and so will you ... you should go read it), but I have not copied it. Except for the bit about the statue, this is an entirely different story. Upon my honour, I swear it.
