My inspiration: The genius that is Maynard James Keenan My current project: The Humbling River As many authors like to say, please critique all of my works for anything that seems out of place. I enjoy even the slightest corrections such as grammar and spelling, to awkward sentences being pointed out. All suggestions for new concepts or ideas are appreciated. Also, one of the best things about writing is getting reviews, whether good or bad, so please do so. I have a plethora of ideas on hand for various works. My current task is to continue working on The Humbling River. For the entirety of the story I will say that I am not going to rush out any chapters. It is simply a hobby, and however badly someone wants more chapters, rushing them out always leads to less desirable work. Hopefully I can announce tentative dates of chapters being released, but for the most part you will just have to check back in with the story to see if it has changed or been added to. On a small note, it is currently rated M, even though it was rated T for its beginning. This is partly just for safety, and for quite some time it will be T, but my whole premise is that it will definitely be rated M later on (think graphic violence more than anything). In addition, you may notice that I do not add author/narrator notes in my works, in addition to not responding to reviews. You must understand that I do read every single private message and review, and if I want to respond to something, I will definitely respond via private message. If there is something I want everyone to be able to read, I will post responses on my profile bio. In general, my work is just whatever I feel like writing, and however I feel like writing. I do have various influences, and my style is most certainly not set in stone. If you like one method over another, point it out. And as a general rule when writing, please re read your work. On the topic of writing itself, it might help to at least try to envision how well the characters are staying in character, or at least what they would be sounding or acting like. If there aren't a huge number of creative liberties taken, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. |
