I've been meaning to add some stuff here for a bit so here it goes...

I am 21 years old and a guy.

I live in the United States.

I am currently in college and am going to be writing more and more stories as the year goes on. (Hey, I need something to do in those boring classes where the teacher doesn't look at your computer.)

I am a game art and development major.

Note: All contestants have a name, they're just are not used in my story as to avoid any confusion.

1: Vivillon: her actual name is Stephanie, age 16. Her father is a Flygon who owns a very successful mining company that is based in the Wastelands in Kalos. She is a Polar Pattern Vivillon while her mother is River Pattern. She was originally going to be voted out second after Geodude, but I wanted to give Geodude a bit more of a spotlight.

2: Geodude: his actual name is Robert, age 17. Despite being a Kanto representative, Geodude lives in Johto's Dark Cave with his family of 14 brothers and sisters. His father is fully evolved into a Gloem while his mother is a Graveler, the family is very old fashioned where the father controls the home, which accounts for Geodude's sexist attitude. He mostly just stuck to rough housing with his older and younger brothers while at home but would almost always wind up stuck on the bottom of the pile causing him to go into a Defense Curl as to not get crushed.

3: Tyrogue: his actual name is Lee, age 15. He grew up in a dojo located in Cianwood City and was constantly pushed to be the best he could be while harnessing the power of youth. His master/mentor/father figure is a Hitmonlee name Gai. Tyrogue doesn't know who his real parents are and was left at the dojo as an egg. Despite being raised in a dojo, Tyrogue is not the best fighter, but is still strong enough to make an impression on the dojo's inhabitants. Unsurprisingly Tyrogue and his story is based off of Rock Lee from Naruto. (Has a story for his backstory up now!)

4: Sudowoodo: his actual name is Cliff, age 18. Sudowoodo grew up in a fairly unkempt household with his father (another Sudowoodo) who did nothing all day and just lounged about. Fearful of turning into his father, Sudowoodo left home to live with his aunt while still a Bonsly, and when he evolved he joined the military at age 16. His commanding officer/ father figure in the military was the Feraligatr you saw at the end of Sudowoodo's elimination. His personality is very kind hearted but he will always follow orders first over what may or may not be right.

5: Pawniard: her actual name is Iris, age 16. She has always been lazy and it has gotten her in a lot of trouble in the past such as falling asleep in class a lot. She was forced to join the show by her parents who wanted her out of the house for a change. Originally I planed that she was going to make it to the merge and get booted due to a crush she had on Riolu, but she didn't really have the ambition to do so well and the two never had any interactions. Also she was starting to piss me off as a character to write because of how little she did/would do.

6: Phantump: his actual name is Aldus, he is technical 106 years old because he is a ghost, but mentally and appearance wise, he is 16. Phantump isn't actually timid, he is just very withheld from everyone because of the lifespan differences, and will only start to open up around good friends, case in point, Ursaring and Inkay. Also, he doesn't suffer from loneliness, if anything he has too much company at home as he has a very large family, mostly Trevenants and other Phantumps who have a strict code of, 'no one gets left behind' but because of his large family he often feels overlooked because there are so many other Phantumps. I planed to have Phantump go a lot further before the merge, but other character stories took preference over his.

7: Staravia: her actual name is Cherette, age 16. As some of you read during chapter 8, Staravia had an abusive father, a Pidgeot, at home which affected her and her mother. But he was arrested when she evolved into a Staravia and became brave enough to speak to authorities, this happened when she was 12. If she stepped more out of her comfort zone, Staravia would be a far more aggressive player but still retain her kind heart. My original plan for Staravia was to have her make it to right before the merge, but get eliminated after others realize she had a lot more potential to do well. Also when I first drummed up the idea of this story, I was originally going to make her a Staraptor and be slightly bi-polar, but it was more fun and made better sense to make her a Staravia. Off that note, she was also supposed to be one of the girls chasing Geodude at the start but I found it to be a bit out of character once I dropped the idea of bi-polar.

8: Snubbull: her actual name is Alyssa, age 17. She is the "gossip girl" of the show, always determined to uncover any and all secrets that someone could have. As seen in chapter 6, she can be fairly quiet when sneaking around to uncover something but her eager nature blows her cover almost all the time. Alongside that in chapter 6, she has been shown to be fairly powerful when it comes to physical strength. Originally when I planned the cast, Snubbull was going to be a guy with a story like Kirlia in the sense that everyone assumed he was a girl based on looks; but he was a lot more violent about it. I scrapped this idea when I realized there was a vast indifference between girls and guys.

9: Scrafty: her actual name is Rita, age 17. She is and always will be a city girl, she was born in Castelia City and was raised to be a rough and tough girl by her single mom. While she is a pretty competent fighter, Scrafty is actually very clumsy and prone to constant tripping on her pants. And if you couldn't figure out at the end of the chapter, yes she is a lesbian and yes, she does have a crush on Fraxure. Personally, Scrafty was one of the harder character for me to write because of her accent that I hope you all could believe, but she is also one of my more favorite characters because of her cool clumsy nature. A fun fact, Scarfty was originally not a Scrafty but instead she was a Drillbur; however I found it to be weird that a Pokemon known for digging would be a city girl, so I scrapped it and made her a Scrafty.

10: Camerupt: his actual name is Leron, age 17. He is the leader, the guy who always steps up to fill the leadership position and makes sure everyone makes it out successful. As mentioned in chapter 11 he was the class president in high school and he unfortunately had to achieve it through dis-honorable means, something he is not really proud of. Also seen throughout the series, he is by no mean athletic but can still archive feats of intense physical acts but at a cost of literally all his energy. One of his more notable aspects is his reading habit, one that is shared with Hypno; and even though it was not shown the two would discuss favorite books, authors, and genres. Camerupt is a large fan of the heroic adventure stories and a bit of post apocalyptic.
