She barely looked at him, not even registering his grunt as she tried to propel herself off him in a hurried fluster to continue down the hall to homeroom. FINALLY the group learns that Carol has been exiled. They have some strong reactions to it.

There was no way to tell if the crimson staining his vision was brought on by blind rage or if it was a result of the fresh blood spurting up into the air like some sort of flowing fountain pumping skywards. A few months after the Woodbury group arrive the prison gets overrun. He doesn't know if it was an act of stupidity or betrayal that caused it. All he knows is that the end result was him losing everything. Or did he? This is a Caryl one shot so if you don't like Caryl then move on.

This is a season two based "what if" story. What if Daryl brought Sophia back alive and well and what if the farm hadn't been overrun? Just something that has been bouncing around in my head for a while. It wont be any more than two chapters. Caryl all the way so if that isn't your thing then move on! Rating will most likely change depending on what people want to read.

AU. Carol manages to tear herself away from the violence of her husband but eventually finds herself in the middle of a world gone crazy. Something bad is happening and she believes that her own survival, and the survival of her friends, is balancing on the whims of three brutal and bickering rednecks.

Pre first-half S3 finale. "Some people see scars, & it is wounding they remember. To me they are proof of the fact that there is healing." The lives they used to live were gone. But how much of who they used to be had been swept away too? A story of two damaged souls discovering going forwards means going back & facing the things that once held you. Rated for language/adult themes.

Daryl tries to come to terms with the loss of his brother and, of course, it is a journey he strongly believes he should walk alone. But when she finds him there, next to her own grave, her kindness guides him out of the dark. Sometimes, in mourning, we see things in a different light. It doesn't have to be understood right away to be real.

Daryl notices Carol shivers when she sleeps... what will he do about it? Read to find out! Fluffy one shot!

Carol held his warm hand awkwardly as they walked, her fingers shaking against his sweaty palm. They fled with who remained of their family and there at the end of the procession, they traveled hand in hand.

A series of Daryl/Carol moments set throughout the series, up through "Sick." Title comes from Longfellow's Evangeline.

She would make him tell her to get lost if that's what he wanted. He didn't want her to opt out. He didn't trust anyone else to make sure she didn't.
