I'm currently writing "Overseer", a journal format story set 500 years in the future of the Heroes universe. It's a very different time from the one we know. Evolved humans are removed from their parents BEFORE birth and transported to the SegWorld hatcheries, where they have their abilities genetically supressed before living a strictly controlled and regulated life.

Meanwhile, on Earth (or Terra as it will come to be known), evolution is being denied, the gene pool is shrinking and mankind is dying.

This story is being made available in two formats as I write it. The first is as an online journal with Lucien's diary entries listed from newest to oldest. As I progress with the story, Lucien makes appropriate posts to the Journal.

As the story reaches each "chapter-point", the posts are then taken and re-ordered from oldest to newest to post as a chapter here on fanfiction.net.

It's up to you how you read it. If you want to keep up with the posts as they appear, go to and either read them there, or subscribe to the Atom feed at the bottom of the page - you can then see Lucien's diary entries in your feed reader as he posts them.

If you want to wait between chapters and read it in a more logical format, then by all means come here and read it that way - just don't forget to submit a review...your input is needed!
