This is an AU. Tauriel gives her life for Kili's. She is granted a new life with him as one of Durin's Folk (yes, a more Tolkeinesque solution, like Beren and Luthien.) He is crowned King with her by his side as Queen. But not without opposition. Deceased characters will make appearances in flashbacks. Setting and most characters belong to Tolkien and/or Jackson.

The Lonely Mountain is reclaimed. Thorin, Fíli, and Kíli recover from their wounds while Dáin makes himself at home. A Fix-it fic because I grew too attached to fictional characters and couldn't let them die.

Everyone thought that Norrington went to Tortuga to become a dissolute drunk who was mourning the loss of his crew, his ship, and his life, but nothing is as it seems with the finely honed, double-edged sword that is James Norrington.

Tauriel sacrifices her life in Mirkwood and her position as captain of the guard to act on her convictions. With Legolas's help, she pursues the orcs hunting the dwarves to Laketown, where the Elves rescue Kili and the others. This Kiliel-ish fic offers a possible progression of events beyond DoS, with multiple POVs and a synthesis of movie and bookverse. Will go through to BoFA.

Desperate to save a dying Kili, Tauriel expends the flame of her spirit to lend him strength. Will it be enough to save him a second time? And can she keep her half of the promise she made by accepting his runestone?

My take on what would bring Kili and Tauriel together and keep them together. Series of interconnected one-shots, some longer than others. 'DoS'-compliant. AU after that as I really don't like the idea of Kili dying.

"If more people valued home above gold the world would be a merrier place." My own take on a BOTFA fix-it AU. Everybody lives, nobody dies, and everyone is happy. Focuses primarily on the Durins, with some Tauriel as well.

This is an alternate storyline I started quite a bit ago, picking up from the end of "Desolation of Smaug." Mostly a deeper exploration of Kili and Tauriel's relationship, hopefully it's enjoyable though. :)

After having watched Hobbit 3, I refuse to let Kili be dead and this is the only way I could "keep him alive." Aidan's amazing and nuanced portrayal of the endearingly sweet but cheeky Kili made me completely fall in love with him (not to mention he is the most beautiful human on the planet!) and I thought Their relationship was totally sweet! They MUST have a happy ending!

After the battle of five armies and the death of Thorin Oakenshield, Kíli's life changes drastically. Together with an exiled she-elf he ends up in an unlikely place: The Shire.
