Hi! I'm girlrunner1, I hail from the awesome city of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. My real name is Bernadine and I won't give out my last name due to my hate of creepy virtual stalkers, although there's probably only like ten people named Bernadine in all of Pennsylvania, and that's if I'm lucky.

I dream of someday becomming a writer, hopefully an author of fantasy literature. Ironically, I don't have the courage to write fanfiction, because I like to write my own stories based on my orginal ideas... well, that and the fact that I don't want to get criticised or flamed by thousands of fan boys and girls who either think I know nothing about the TV show, cartoon, ect. that I base a story on, or want to kill me for having an idea that puts their favorite character in a situation they think is blasphemous.

I originally got into fanfiction when I was really crazey over the Harry Potter books, and was looking for fanfiction. I then stumbled upon this site, and it was like a miracle sent from god, all I needed was a church choir and a Holy light to come over me and my keyboard!

I'm pretty much a crossover nut, although I prefer crossovers with Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, the Xmen, Spiderman, Squaresoft video games, and some animes like Naruto.

My favorite music is mostly rock: I like indie rock from bands like Franz Ferdinand, grundge/hard rock from bands like The Foo Fighters, funk metal, rap-rock from bands like The Red Hot Chili Peppers, and alt. rock from bands like Weezer. I think the band Gorillaz is great too, which is a 'fictional' band that incorporates rock, hip hop, and alt. rap into their songs. The only pop I can honestly say I like are from people like Alanis Morssette and Shakira. I also like and some rap/R&B from people like Kanye West, Outcast, and the group Gnarls Barkley, but for the most part I think the bulk of rap has become a two deminsional, played-out genre that talks about the same splayed-out subjects.
