Of course you have, when done right they can be engaging as all hell, however there is something that bogs down many of them: a person from our world seeing a fictional character and being totally nonplussed by it, it is, in my opinion, the one true cardinal sin of this type of fanfic. The reason that this is a sin is very obvious: if you or any other person from our world saw a cave troll, or Rainbow Dash, or Alucard, or Ciel or any fictional character and you KNEW THAT THEY WERE REAL, you would probably keel over or your brain would go into BSOD mode, you wouldn't be like "Oh a fictional character who cannot possible exist in our world... whatever." you would go "... AAAAAAAAHHHHHHRRRRGGGHGGHGGH" and faint. In conclusion: DON'T MAKE A REAL PERSON MEETING A FICTIONAL CHARACTER NO BIG DEAL!!!!!!!!! Coming Soon...
