![]() Author has written 7 stories for Circle of Magic, Gundam Wing/AC, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh GX, Ouran High School Host Club, and Teen Titans. The Basics Hi, I'm Ariel. Age depends on how I feel mentally. Female. Living somewhere in the US that I'd rather not be. (Hint: DC area) I don't play well with others. I go to community college, and I'm hoping to get a degree in education once I transfer. For some reason, I like kids. Go figure. I like a bunch of pairings, most of them yaoi, some het, some yuri. Currently, I'm trying to forget pairings altogether 'cause they're messing with my head. I love my profile pic! It's from when my friend and I were working on the set for Into the Woods, our HS musical for my senior year. Go techies! Author Update 12/7/08 All right, here’s the scoop: it’s gotten harder for me to write over the last few years. Certain issues in my life have led to despondency over my stories and a little bit of personal heartbreak. Nothing romantic, mind you, but I suppose that’s also part of the problem. Having never been in love before, I only had observations to base most of my stories on, and with most of the objects of my observations going through some hardships, my characters have gone through those hardships as well, but it’s never developed. I felt static, and so, they remained static. Recently (try last night), I had an epiphany while on facebook: fuck it. I may not know or understand love, but I understand people. I played the shrink often enough for my friends, and I’ve watched people develop over the years, not love, but people in all their complex and irritating glory. I’m the person that they turn to, not for love advice as I thought in the past; no they come for people advice. So I’ve decided that I’m going to take down and revamp all of my old unfinished stories while undertaking something new. Fuck love, I don’t get it at all. Friendship, growth, character complexity and past, that’s what I’ll work on. Shinigami’s Sister is back, but now I'm Shinimegami, the 2.0 version. Believe it. The Goods Girls Who Avoid Their Wise Elders Are Cared For: A sappy little ONESHOT about Niko and his daughter. Surprises: In which Zane learns what a complete and total idiotic asshole he is when it comes to his little brother. ONESHOT. Possible sequel if people want it. Begin Anew: An epiphany comes to Naruto, but lies dormant until after the battle on the bridge, and the ripples bring about some welcome changes fore the ninjas of Konoha. Possibly updated twice a week, depending on how my schedule goes for the next few weeks. |
