A place for all the little Star Trek stories that pop into my head. They vary from humour to seriousness, and mostly feature Kirk, McCoy or Pike, with other crew making appearances. No Slash. First story - McCoy sleeps in the Clinic, Pike wonders why.

However, it turns out to be a tour that threatens to tear them apart for good in a world that is dangerous, terrorising and cruel. It was well known to the company that Kíli and Fíli were mischievous little terrors as dwarf children. Sitting around various campfires on the way to reclaim Erebor, the pair's youthful adventures and scrapes are exposed to the group, including broken bones, earthquakes, dwarf pox and plenty of h/c. Kíli/Fíli with protective!Thorin and the rest of the dwarves thrown in for fun.

A series of one-shots that will be updated sporadically but mostly unrelated scenes from Fili and Kili's upbringing with Thorin, Dis and their father with cameos from other characters.

In the Undying Lands, love is needed to heal from conflictions on the mind. Bilbo cannot heal from the ring's wrath because he feels responsible for the deaths of Thorin, Fili and Kili, and it overshadows his strong love for Frodo. So Illúvator decides to bring the sons of Durín to Valinor to heal the ring bearer. ONE-SHOT

Leaving home for the first time is exciting. Leaving home to reclaim a treasure from a dragon is an adventure. The biggest adventure in the lives of two young dwarfs, following their uncle on a journey they had never imagined. - formerly "Bone Crusher"

Set during the events of 'Do Not Speak to Me of Loss'. Kili is not oblivious to the turmoil between his brother and Uncle. Fili is completely conflicted and Thorin just doesn't seem to care. Cue general turmoil, confusion and concern. COMPLETE.

Thorin sighed. "On your feet, Kili. You've already said you'll do as you wish, and to the Pits of Doom with what what I wish. I suppose there's nothing for it but to let you along. I've always said you've had more heart than brains, boy. Let's hope we all live long enough prove me wrong." No slash. Further details inside.

Sometimes there are wounds that reach too deep beneath the surface, and they will never heal. (no slash, just brotherly love).

""Let me see," he said, more gently, as he pried Kili's hand away from his head. He had expected blood, or at least a painful lump. What he found instead sent an anger hotter than any forge boiling in his belly." Kili is bullied, Fili rearranges some teeth, and Thorin's attempts at comfort are infused with the harsh lessons he must teach his nephews.

Thorin may not have been blessed with children of his own, but this does not mean he was not blessed. Short, fluffy Thorin and his nephews - mostly Kili.

"All I could think of doing in that moment was to stamp my foot and shout 'No' repeatedly until he understood that I did not want to sleep, I did not want to lay down beside my ridiculous little brother and I did not want my uncle to be watching my every move ." An exhausted Fili's plans at adulthood are not going well, but overall, he thinks that's probably best. COMPLETE

Thorin is not a forgiving man, but he thanks Aule his nephews are. Weighed down by grief as they come closer to where he lost his family, Thorin overreacts to his nephews' joke on the hobbit and does something he shouldn't. Fluffy, angsty, all about Thorin and his nephews. COMPLETE.

In which Fili and Kili act like children, assert their independence, talk about serious things and just will NOT go to sleep. From tomorrow morning, whether they like it or not, Thorin is going to be their King and not their Uncle, but does Thorin have other ideas? Bit fluffy. Okay, more than a bit fluffy. COMPLETE
