And he knows, once he builds the boy up to that, the boy will smile and do so.

Mysteriously, Mabel somehow finds herself lost in the mindscape and is desperate to find a way out. She then runs into Bill Cipher, where he begins to talk to her, figuring out why she is here and how to get her back home. But the longer they converse, for the first time alone, Mabel can feel him play with her emotions, where it becomes harder and harder to tell truth from lies.
