Hi friends!

Manders here, just your ole friendly fanfic writer. A little about me... Growing up, I was always the storyteller. I started writing fanfic way back in the day (12 years ago) when my show, my love, my One Tree Hill, was in its first season. Barely in junior high, and probably a little too young for the show, I was completely engulfed by the stories they told, but not always pleased with how they ended (Brucas, man, all the way). And for years following, I spent my free time filling notebook after notebook of stories that I eventually moved over to this here website, old school message boards, and really anywhere I could get my creativity out.

I eventually found my forever home in the Communication department my third year in college, and spent the next four years locking down two degrees (BA & MA) in communication, focusing specifically on Interpersonal Comm (how we talk to each other). I'm lucky to have found a path that allows me to be creative, to think outside of the box, but more importantly, my field allows me to WRITE!

Working on my Thesis for my Master's, my mentor advised I write every day. "Even if you end up throwing it away, write. Write every day like it's your job."

And so here I've found myself. Moments away from starting my final degree in Communication (cross your fingers for me, it's the big one -my PhD) and I've decided, now is the time to have a creative outlet again.

If you've made it this far into my 'about me' you have my gratitude and I hope that if you venture into a story of mine I am able to bring you something you enjoy.

For now, I'm keeping things simple doing one fic at a time, and my first go back at this thing is a Girl Meets World future fic: Maya Meets World. I hope you all enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!

I live and breathe for feedback, as I know that is the only way I can improve. So please, feel free to message me, leave me comments or get my attention anyway you see fit if you do have some feedback you'd like to share (or if you just wanna chat, I'm brand new and all alone in my new town, sooooo I don't have a lot of human interaction right now).
