When Chloe convinces Max to make things right, something strange happens, resulting in a new beginning and a chance at a life together. Starting a few days after the end of Episode 5, Max and Chloe venture forth into their new life together. Much cuddling ensues. Mainly fluff, but with loose story arcs tying things together, and pretensions at character development. Begun long before BTS was released, and so now conflicts with some aspects of the canon.

Chloe Price is no stranger to love. She's experienced all kinds of it. Family love, best friend love, fling love, lover love. And she's had her heartbroken by each. She thought she could no longer be taken by surprise when it came to it. So, why is it that, when this girl runs into her with her skateboard, she feels so...strange?

AU. No time travel/tornado. Max is an outsider at Blackwell, harassed by the Vortex Club and too shy to make any friends. Then blue-haired, beautiful, punk rock Chloe catapults into her life, questioning everything she's ever believed about herself, her sexuality and life in general. Feisty, confident and even a little dangerous, Chloe shows Max what it's like to really live.

At age thirteen, Max's powers Emerged. Identified as a Special, one of a tiny handful of people with amazing abilities, she is forcibly recruited and studied by the government.
