Shan Yu wasn't supposed to survive the avalanche and he wasn't supposed to take over China. Clearly, fate had other plans for the two... and it all revolved around revenge, obsession, a girl and a mountain. Implied rape.

Searching for any records King Sombra may have left behind, Twilight learned of the shadowy king's tragic past. However, she also discovered his horn, in which his mind and remaining power was contained. Determined to give him a second chance, Twilight brings Sombra back to Ponyville with her. After all, what could he possibly do as a horn? ...Or will he stay that way?

King Sombra has returned, and he has all of Equestria under his hoof. He's also become so powerful that not even the Mane 6 could stop him. However, the king's mastery of black magic has allowed him to escape the clutches of death and reconquer the Crystal Empire. With war looming on the horizon, Twilight Sparkle and her friends must come to terms with the loss of their own innocence.

China is under the rule of a new Emperor, whose brutal and excessive rule has brought about famine and suffering throughout the country. Mulan & Shang meet again for the first time in 3 years, fighting on opposite sides. What will happen?
