I started obsessing over fanfiction soon after I started obsessing over twilight.

A year later I finally felt like it was time to make a profile.

Bituin means star in tagalog, the language spoken in the Philippines. I am half-filipina, though I really don't look it. Most people think I'm Hispanic. It's a little strange that the part of my life I am most proud of is one that I can hardly relate to, having grown up in the US all my life. I hope to travel all around the Philippine islands one day so that when I tell people I'm filipina, it will start to feel right.

I was due Christmas eve, so my parents gave me the fitting name of Noelle. Unfortunately, my birthday was just about the only time I was ever early to anything, so the name lost a bit of its impact. Nonetheless, winter has always been and will always be my favorite time of the year. I love everything about it: the perfection of new snow, the warmth of a fire glowing beside me as I sip hot cider, the disgustingly sweet specialty flavors of coffee and ice cream and candy, wearing comfy boots and sweaters and colorful scarves, and the atmosphere of the holidays spent with my friends and family. Of course, the presents and two weeks off from school don't hurt either.
