Emma Swan finds friendship in Killian Jones at age 11, unknowing that they each had fallen in love with the other. She was intrigued by his accent and tale of the ocean. But when they are 15 and he reveals that he has to leave, she believes that they will see each other again. Is all lost or will they find each other again?

Modern day AU. Jewel of the World shipping has been in the Jones family for five generations. Recently it has been run by Liam, Tara and Killian, that was until the huge fight and Killian walking out. Three years later, Killian is a moderately famous rock star in Storybrooke, Maine. Until Tara shows up with news that is going to ruin his world.

Emma Swan left her family four years ago, but one request from her parents has brought her back to Storybrooke, and to Killian. She has to face her fears, and the one person she has missed more than her true love. She has to own up to her mistakes and hope that they will forgive her. (I'm not sure how to summarize, you just have to read to find out)

The last thing Killian Jones had expected to happen when he rescued the princess, was that he would actually end up falling in love with her. CS AU.

AU: Based on the Film Return to Me. There will be some divergence from the film. Some of the characters will have different personalities from their TV show counterparts. Emma Nolan (Swan) has lived with heart problems and is currently waiting for a new one. Killian Jones' world is flipped upside down when his wife dies. Fate will bring these two together in an unusual way.

This story takes place during season three, directly after the episode, Dark Hollow. Everyone sees Hook as nothing, but a pirate and with good reason. Hook is a pirate and the worst of them. However, he has struggled to prove to Emma and the others that he's more, having become hurt by their harsh accusations. Unfortunately, Pan appears again and Hook's life is soon put in danger.
