I'm an original TOS fan from the very beginning - yes I'm that old. Not as big a fan of ST in its other incarnations although I really like ST XI as well. Spock and the Vulcans fascinate me.

I have zero patience for bad grammar in fanfic - it's NOT "me and Spock" (OK, sometimes is is correct but not the way contemporary culture uses it) and the plural of Vulcan is Vulcans. Vulcan's is possessive. And so on.

I hate racism, sexism and specism in fan fic - if I read pointy eared hobgoblin one more time I'll scream. McCoy is a xeno-medicine specialist. In my head canon, he would never talk to Spock the way too many writers assume is funny.

But mostly I love original creative ideas in fan fiction.
