Greetings, and welcome to our little corner of the internet. We are Chris and Kait. Separately we can be found as MadameCissy and KittyKait on this website.

So, how did this thing start, you wonder? Well, let us tell you a little story. I promise it won't take too long.
Ever get one of those random messages in your inbox that says, "Hey, are you ever going to write a sequel to that story?" It was Summer 2013 and Cissy got one of those from some chick named Kait. That's the one that started it all. We just didn't know it yet.

Fast forward a year and a half and another message appeared, late 2015. "Hey, are you still going to write that story?" Different fandom, same question, same chick. Answer was still the same too. No, Cissy wasn't going to finish it. Little did she know she had thoroughly pissed Kitty off by this point. And just to put it out there, Cissy isn't normally in the habit of not finishing her work. Kitty was just very unlucky.

A happy chance on Twitter meant we both pressed the "follow" button sometime in January 2016. At one point we realised our paths had crossed not once but twice before and here we are, 8 months on from that Twitter connection, caught in this crazy thing called friendship and fandom.

Chris is Dutch but lives in England whilst Kait is an Aussie living in Australia (duh!). Our time zone differences are ridiculous but somehow we make them work because really, who needs sleep anyway?

It turns out we are both HUGE Major Crimes fans, but more importantly we love Mary McDonnell and Sharon Raydor. So naturally one thing led to another and one day Kitty presented Cissy with a challenge. Because life's too short to just be boring.

Cissy is a big Sharenda shipper and whilst Kitty had decided to dip her toe into that ship, she became frustrated by all the stories out there depicting Sharon as the lesbian whilst Brenda was not. The challenge was to flip that idea and "Leap of Faith" was born. What started as a small idea quickly grew into a labour of love.

Like any other loyal crazy fangirl, we made a massive list of all the other stories we want to create together. In the beginning Chris would write the story and Kait would do the editing but one day something changed. It became clear that the writing was clearly not just Kitty's or Cissy's but very much a joint effort. One doesn't function without the other, so to speak. The next logical step was to combine our accounts and make it truly cohesive and, well, here we are.

We have grand plans, as every fanfic writer does in the beginning. Whilst MadameCissy has written for several other fandoms in the past, the only thing you will find here is Major Crimes and/or The Closer. Our stories will all have one thing in common: Sharon Raydor. And whilst "Leap of Faith" started out as a Sharenda story, Sharenda is most definitely not all that you will find here.

So if you're still reading at this point, we promise we're almost done and there really will be fanfic ahead. We hope you enjoy what we create and we welcome your feedback. So don't be shy… we don't bite (not hard, anyway!) and let us know what you think!
