This story takes place 8 years after the Home Invasion Proposition ends and is a continuation of the story with the same characters. The main character is Leonard and Penny's daughter Emily, named after Leonard's grandmother. As Leonard said in the show's pilot about Penny, "Our babies will be smart and beautiful."

This story begins where the Home Invasion Proposition left off and is a prequel to the Emily Derivative. They have been married for 10 months at the beginning of the story. This story goes severely off-canon and is a quite fluffy, just saying. If you haven't read the Home Invasion story, there will be some unfamiliar characters. Au. This is the Star Trek Enterprise from the beginning. No time war and hopefully some surprises.

In this arc, Penny is the victim of a home invasion. She manages to inflict nasty injuries on the bad guys. This is a bit darker than the usual for BBT, but I am so intrigued by the Penny character and wanted to explore how she might respond if something scary happened. She is so strong. You go, girl. I have put my wife and myself in one of the chapters. See if you can find us.

What if T'Pol had never been assigned to the Enterprise...and they hadn't caught up with the Xyrillians in time as a result? By request, an AU diverging rather dramatically from the events of "Unexpected". Set at the onset of the Earth/Romulan war.

Leonard and Penny are back together and starting to think about their future. Howard is going into space. Things happen. Things don't happen.
