Shadow's Scar is my first Bionicle novel set in the time 2000 years before the events of the mata nui saga.

it follows the adventure of the Toa Farang: Kalinga, Korbus and Kabuto, as well as their friends and companions as they travel to exotic lands and fight to stop a rogue makuta from carrying out his twisted experiments. throughout the story they come across many who have been effected, directly or otherwise, by the actions of the Makuta species and see first hand the scars that shadows can leave.
