Paris 1629 and relations between France and Spain are seriously threatened. Treville is under pressure from the King and Cardinal to find those responsible for the treachery but investigations have repercussions for all involved. Danger comes too close to home, the Inseparables are missing and Treville needs a new second-in-command.

The villagers say the cave is haunted by the spirit of a man who met a horrific end. The Inseparables didn't believe it, not really. Not until they decided to investigate the disappearances of local children and find more than they bargained for. Now it's a race for their lives against time and the darkness. Rated M for horror and graphic descriptions. Set between seasons 1 and 2.

(ModernAU) Aramis might have a stalker but it could be a figment of his over-tired, depressed mind. He's had a rough year and it doesn't look like it's going to get better anytime soon. All in all, it could have been worse. Athos was a man of few words anyway. Aramis was a better shot while blindfolded than anyone in the garrison with their sight. It is said that the first impression is the last but Porthos finds that it may not be lasting. Because Aramis leaves a trail of impressions, the weight of his character making each one deeper than the last until there is a friend standing in his place; and then a brother.

The gunshot was loud in the stone cellar. Unusually, he jumped at the sound. D'Artagnan used to jump at the sound of gunfire, but he had been a Musketeer long enough for it not to affect him any more. But not this time. This time he flinched.

While on rather boring and dull mission, D'Artagnan learns all the tips and lessons of being a good Musketeer. However, when Aramis is struck with a migraine, he will learn the most important one of all.

Aramis has been held captive and tortured for three months. When Athos and Porthos find him, he's not the same man they knew.

The Musketeers are chasing two fugitives and things don't go as planned.

Aramis turns up unexpectedly wounded, with no idea of how it happened...or who his friends are.

Here's your Halloween Treat! D'Artagnan must save his friends from the clutches of the Red Witch before the setting of the Hunter's Moon seals their fates forever. An entry in the October Fete des Mousquetaire contest with the theme "Haunted Houses".

'The attacker pushed Aramis down harder preventing any further attempts to reach the surface merely inches above him. He knew it was only a matter of time before he would be forced to take a breath, only this time it would not be air that entered his lungs.'

[Entry for Fetes des Mousquetaires] A Musketeer is captured by the bandits and he's collecting rocks...

It's early winter in the south of France. Athos and Porthos find themselves stuck in a swamp while trying to rescue their horses from bandits who may or may not be simple horse thieves. Aramis and d'Artagnan stand a valiant defense of their mired friends and all of them pay with various levels of injury and regret. -Complete.

Just a simple mission...gone very awry. When their field medic is put out of commission, who will pick up the needle and wield it in his stead? Plenty of brotherly banter and more than a little hurt/comfort.

"I believe that our best chance of success is to introduce someone familiar to them. Someone who has been away and has lost everything during that time – his family, his farm. When the Musketeers are captured by a criminal cartel operating out of an unstable cave system, Athos is forced to make a difficult decision. Can he bring himself to leave two brothers behind? And how will they fare when the consequences come crashing down around them? No slash unless you squint.

When the king's delegation to a province is ambushed on the road it leads the musketeers on a quest to find the man who would attack a king, terrorise villages and murder their brothers.

When Aramis is lost during a harrowing mission, D'Artagnan learns a secret Aramis and Porthos have been keeping from him. Or, D'Artagnan must be blind not to have noticed this before and Aramis gets hurt a lot. Sequel up!
