Writing House Fanfic started from an RPG I was in on Twitter. I created the character Angel Hoffman (also my pen name) as an original character for the show "House, MD". Most of my stories will heavily rely upon her character. Don't we all wish we could be on the show? Well, this was my way to do it. I decided to arrange my stories as a series with episodes (Season One, Episode One: Introductions, for example). There will be some one shots that just didn't flow or just for fun and won't rely heavily on the Episodes (though it may help to have read them).

I have come to understand what "Mary Sue" is. My fanfic is very Mary Sue. I'm ok with that ;) I tend to write my fanfics in my head as I battle with my own chronics--one of them being complex migraine disease. Nothing else to do in a dark room lying on ice packs but entertain myself with thoughts of House! (That came out more dirty than I intended.)

Angel Hoffman is 25 (birthday 3/10/1985), and strongly resembles Scarlett Johanssen. She is a petite brunette with blue eyes, and a mysterious past. She enjoys singing.

Other characters to be introduced will be Maggie, Sadie Kimball, Dr. Felicia Borden, Dr. Joshilyn Brenner, Dan Field, (Cats: Calypso, Emma).

My attraction to House particularly comes because I have had chronic pain and illness for 17 years, nearly 6 years of chronic headaches and migraines as well. At times I get frustrated by how people treat House when he was using vicodin--I'm on it myself, at almost a dose he was on. I don't get high. I don't hallucinate. I'm still in pain. Watching House and writing fanfic is an incredible distraction and outlet for the pain. Hugh Laurie is such an amazing actor at portraying a chronic pain survivor. And as you'll see later I also have the hots for Wilson and Foreman (YES FOREMAN!)

I bring a little bit of myself and my life to my character. Mostly it's fiction ;)

Would love reviews, comments and messages--they are (almost) better than vicodin! Everytime you comment/review, a migraine cries :D

I've been diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis and ankylosing spondylitis. Both are very painful, degenerative autoimmune diseases. It has begun to affect my hands, but thankfully I have Dragon software! I'm grateful, still, for House. I am still sad the show is over. I watch reruns on marathon whenever I can on cable. Wilson's Heart *still* makes me cry.

I miss doing RPG. Someday, I hope soon, we will have holodecks and I can have my own private House ;)
