About Me:

My name is Terri and I live in the United States. I am a stay at home Mom who enjoys Anime, Manga, and TMNT!!!! I have always been a fan, but it's only been in the past few years that I have allowed people to see that. Before I was a closet watcher of these series. I have read fanfiction for a lot of years only recently did I decide to sign up. Maybe one day I will write fanfiction, but at this point I am not confident in my writing skills.

Anime:

I have been a long time fan of Anime. Really any kind of anime. Sailor Moon and Dragon Ball Z were the first series I really got into. Then I became a fan of the Gundams. Gundam Wing, G Gundams, Gundam Seed, and Gundam Seed Destiny. One of my all time favorite Anime/Manga is Bleach. LOVE IT!!!!! Honestly, the list is long of all the amines I have seen. I am a slight feminist (which is funny cause I am a stay at home MoM) so I really enjoy things with strong female roles.

Right now now I am into the Fate/Stay's. They did multiple versions which is neat. The main routes that are really enjoyable are Fate/Stay Zero and Fate/Stay unlimited blade works. The anime itself is beautifully done.

Manga:

Now there are some Manga's that I like way better then the anime version. That's what this section is for. AirGear is absolutely amazing! The anime is somewhat blah. The OVA's are much better - closer to the manga story. Also, Gia Rei is another big one. It focuses on a more sister relationship and the story itself is beautiful! I also like the Vampire Rasmiaro manga. The anime tends to tone down some of the gore, but the manga really doesn't so you can feel the emotions a lot better.

TMNT

The final fandom!!!! While I have enjoyed TMNT for a lot of years this is the first time I have really gotten into being a voice of it. I watched the 80s cartoons when I was a little girl. Never really got into the 2003 version. Only bc I thought the animation was subpar. I started getting into anime at that point and let's face it the fight scenes in dragon ball Z were way more epic. I am a fan of all the movies - especially the first one. It felt darker. That's why I really liked it. While it attracted a younger audience the movie itself was more dark and til this day it still looks believable! The other live action movies after that are good but a little too dopey. The 2007 CGI film was good, but I feel like they tried really hard at one liners. The CGI was beautiful - I just wish the story matched that. The scenery took on a darker tone and I think the dialog and plot should have reflected that more.

Ugh - the next mutation - boo that noise. Watched a few episode and it was awful.

2012 series: I really enjoy this. Even though it's geared to a much younger audience it's funny and really cleverly done. I really love the Raph of this one! I also like that they made April the same age and more relatable.

2014 Movie!!! I am a huge fan. While a lot of people didn't like what they did with the turtles to me it was believable. They are mutated creatures! They should look it. I liked what they did and I really like how they tied in April. They gave her a more meanful role in the turtles lives.

I am a huge Raphril fan!!!! Of any incarnation of the series! Raphril all they way!!!!
