This is my version of the 2005 cartoon series. Aang was twelve when he was told he was the new Avatar. Aang didn't run away and accepted his role as the Avatar. At sixteen he was on his way to the south pole when him and Appa got caught in the storm and frozen in the iceberg. Aang completed all of his Avatar training in the four years between. Aang wakes 100 years later.
