Author has written 3 stories for Claymore, Starblazers, Misc. Anime/Manga, and Mythology. The howling wind cuts through your flesh and into your bones as you struggle forward, your eyes are bleary from the dust and rain pounding onto your frame as you struggle to move forward, a small piece of paper clutched tightly in your nearly numb hand. You don't know where it came from or how it came to be the center of your attention, nay your world. All that you do know is that one day it was waiting for you on you your doorstep, somehow remaining in place even with the gale force winds that slammed into your home, prompting the structure to groan in discomfort as wood creaked and coldness saturated the interior despite your best efforts to prevent it. There it was a plain and simple slip of paper that bore little more than a set of co-ordinates and the words "We welcome you to join us for the evening, and look forward to your visit," beneath these words was a symbol that you had never seen before, an hourglass placed within a circle, a line bifurcating it with two infinity symbols placed both within the triangles that made up the hourglass and at the end of the horizontal line. Emerging from each of the two triangles sides were line that totaled at six, with four of them being horizontal and two being vertical. On the outside of the circle were four lines that emerged from the four cardinal points of the circle, two vertical lines facing north and south, and two horizontal lines facing east and west. For days you left it sitting on your desk as you pondered the strange symbol and the equally bizarre message, despite your best attempts no data could be found as to what the symbol represented or as to the origin of the strange slip of paper itself, which appeared to change its colors based upon the light that graced its ever changing form. Inevitably, just as it prompted Pandora to open her box and let loose its evils upon the world, so to did curiosity caress and sing to your mind with a serpents silver tongue until at last you could not bare it anymore, and thus we come to our present settings. A cold wind that cuts to the bone, a frigid rain that drenched the earth, and a sky as dark as the hearts of men. A scene taken from a horror novel, your mind faintly supplies much to your immediate discomfort. Your blood races as your heart pounds with effort as you struggle against wind and rain to reach the co-ordinates that you have followed. Your car lies parked at the side of the road as you follow a path of old cobbled stone that has been partially consumed by the earth surrounding you. Trees high enough to provide a modicum amount of cover form the heavenly deluge pouring down on you, yet offering no real resistance against the pounding wind line the path, their gnarled branches stretch towards the heavens and towards the path as though they seek to embrace both the missing radiant golden light of dawn, and those who would brave this little known stretch of road. The slip of paper remains strangely dry as you keep it clutched tightly in your hands, even as the rain pounds down on you as you force your frigid limbs to move, step by step you trudge forward until...it stops. The wind and rain vanishing as suddenly as your footing does, and with a rather graceless stumble you fall to your knees on the smooth and polished stone path that now glints under the warmth of the golden light filtering through through the rainbow of leaves, gold and red, pink and green from the equally as varied collection of trees that stand proudly along the path bathed in a warm glow. Sakura trees, oak, birch, weeping willows, red, peach, apple, as many trees as there were colors within the spectrum of light greet your stunned eyes as you slowly lift your head partial wondering if you had tripped and hit your head hard enough to grant yourself a concussion, or if you had inhaled something blown in by the storm that now prompted a vivid hallucination. Struggling to your feet you gaze behind you and see, to your stunned amazement, woods grasped in a storm wrenched from the depths of natures malevolence, wind that bend even the sturdiest trees, accompanied by wind as cold and sharp as senbon needles, and a deathly cold mist that hangs tightly to the earth as though heralding the coming of the reaper itself. Yet all of this seems to stop at the seemingly invisible boundary that you had just crossed, with eyes wide as the endless vistas above and beyond you turn tour stunned gaze to the sight of a towering building that rests proudly within the center of this seemingly magical clearing. Its walls gleam proudly in the morning light, even as flowering blooms cover the lower reaches of them, the windows are partially open and those that are not are covered by dark red satin curtains. The roof is lined with a small black iron fence and bears dark blue tiles that seem to strangely complement the gleaming gray and silver stones that make up the building. With two sizable towers emerging from the front of its vaguely horseshoe shaped form casting shadows on the emerald grass that gleamed with the morning dew, and a marble fountain that bore the design of a multi-headed serpent, a hydra, your still stunned mind supplies, with streams of crystal clear water emerging from each of the serpents razor filled maws as its gleaming yellow stone eyes seemed to gaze out at its surroundings, and the large dark oak door engraved with ornate designs that would cause the greatest artisans to weep with envy, you idly though is this...is this the place!? Absentmindedly, you trudge forwards your steps loud and clear as your muddy boots clicked against the polished white stone beneath your feet, you idly notice the same symbol that adorns the small slip of paper in your hand placed in elegant silver and dark sapphire, set upon an emerald background placed above the door on what appears to be a medieval kite shield. Still slightly reeling from shock you gaze down at the paper, only to find that it has changed a small jolt compared to the thunderbolt shock that stumbling into this place was. The paper now proudly states "Welcome honored guest, purveyor of curiosity and wonder, seeker of thrill and delight. We are proud to greet and welcome you," the great oak door beings to slide open ", to the greatest show on Earth." With awe filled eyes gazing into a warmly lit interior you step forward into a new world. A place where fantasy and wonder are as real as the blood and bone beneath your flesh, a place where horror and suspense lurk within every looming Stygian shadow and abyssal depth, a place where love and romance sing their siren songs for all to hear behind velvet doors, a place where joy and adventure await for the courageous heart. A place where journeys end and fun begins, Welcome to our home, welcome to The Greatest Show upon this Earth. With a faint click the door locks behind you as you stride forward into this new world. I assume that i have your attention? If so then...excellent! Before you begin to browse this profile, I believe that I should make somethings clear. Please Read below until "End" If You wish First off, it can be safe to assume that most of if not all of my stories will be rated M be it just to be safe or for legitimate reasons, alongside of this some of my stories will most likely suffer from sporadic updates, be it due to work, illness, weather, or any other unpredictable and uncontrollable variable. So i ask you to not only be patient, but to also be mindful of which stories you choose to read. As i can only put a warning on them, I will have to rely on your judgment to tell you which stories are okay for you to read and which are not. Secondly, Disclaimer, I implore you to please understand that i own absolutely none of the books, shows, animes, mangas, or movies that i publish stories for. All of the stories that i publish are works of fiction and as such I apologize beforehand if there are any similarities between any OCs and yourself. All of the series belong to their respective owners and are their sole intellectual property. Thirdly, lets keep reviews nice and clean shall we, no pointless flames (I will use them to cook s-mores and you will not be allowed to have any), respect each other and be courteous. After all, no matter how you say it, or word it, we are all on this planet together for less than the blink of an eye, so lets not waste time squabbling amongst each other, and instead simply enjoy that which has brought us all here. Be it love for a character, a series, or even simply out of whimsy and curiosity let's try to keep the reviews and comments nice for one another shall we. Fourth, the actions, beliefs, and opinions of the characters in no way reflect the views and opinions of the author unless it is explicitly stated otherwise. Fifth, Expect some topics and such to be sensitive or at the very least disturbing for some readers. I am merely stating this as a formality, and as a warning that not all of my stories are going to be sunshine and rainbows and more than a few will deal with sensitive and serious issues. Sixth, I find it somewhat sad that i feel the need to state this but, I firmly believe that it must be done. There is a difference between fiction and reality, a difference between that which occurs within the pages and chapters of a story and that which affects the real world. I implore all of you who take the time to read this to understand that it is important to remember the difference between reality and fantasy. Please do not attempt to replicate the actions contained within my stories as I will not claim responsibility for your actions. Remember, you are the one who makes your own decisions, not me. Seventh, This is a slightly personal note, but i wish for you all to understand that those who have lost someone due to or are suffering from cancer in any form have my deepest and most profound respect and sympathy. As someone who lost three family members to it I can understand the pain you feel. I wish to state that I will not tolerate any comments that demean or target those who face this scourge and plead for all of you to understand the profundity of what these people are going through. I speak to you now as the grandson, the nephew, and the son who was to cowardly to be at the side of the one who meant everything to him, when i say that those who we have lost are never truly gone. They have merely gone on ahead to scout out the path and make sure it's safe for the rest of us, they have been called to go forward into a brighter place by something far beyond us, be it God, Death, The Cosmos, Fate, or something else that we have not even come close to understanding. They have not abandoned you, they have not left you behind, they want you to live the life that stretches before you, they want you to laugh, and sing, and dance, and cry with joy as this beautiful world spins around you. One day, when your bones ache, and you feel weary, you'll close your eyes, rest your head and awaken to see them standing before you greeting you with open arms. Remember the dead are never gone, they are always with us in spirit and memory even in the darkest of times. Eight, Once more a personal message, one addressed to all of you who struggle with coping with this cruel, yet beautiful world. Like you I once thought about ending it all, like you I fell into depths of sorrow so deep that even now I still Struggle to free myself of them. I speak to you not as a better or as an inferior, I speak to you now as an equal, one who knows your pain. Life is harsh yes, and at times it can be cruel. At times the darkness can become a Stygian blackness that swallows all hope and eaves you falling down, down, down. At time the light flickers and fades and shadows loom in its place threatening to bind you in their thorny snares. But I also know that there will always be light in this darkness, be it a friend, a loved one, a pet, or even found deep within yourself. I implore you, to reach out and ask for help to seek guidance and camaraderie, I fought this monster for years and even now its talons are still sunk deep into my flesh, but you don't have to suffer. Life is cruel yes, but it is also a beautiful thing, a precious gift that we have all been given. I ask you to speak out if you contemplate ending it all, I ask you to find someone whom you trust and to let them hear your story, let them know the truth. I ask you to find one who will help you to slay this monster and if not slay than to at least leave it behind to wallow in its own shadows. Ninth, If something is wrong, if you notice something wrong or are suffering from something wrong, please speak up. Too, many have died wallowing in the darkness unable to accept that they should cry out for help. That they should understand, that it is not their fault that it happens to them, that they are not to blame for what occurs behind closed doors. Please, I ask of you to seek help, find one you trust, be it the police, the hospital, a counselor, or a friend, and let them help you. It is a belief of mine that those who are abused could become abusers themselves, so please if not for yourself than for others, seek help. I apologize if I have somehow offended you, or if I have upset you. But these are things that I felt that I needed to say before we continue onward. I fully understand if you have no desire to read what I publish and I freely accept this. I cannot force you to read what I publish, I can only offer it up and hope that you will see it. So, if you have decided to stay than I thank you, and bid you welcome to my humble abode. "End" I suppose that I should get this out of the way first, ahem, expect both sporadic updates and at time a rather...hmm how do i put this? I suppose a rather...sporadic form of a writing style as it will more than likely vary between an overtly descriptive and unique form of writing as seen in the introductory story, or a more simplistic form of writing as commonly seen in the majority of stories on this site. I also would like to say that with me, it is more than likely best if you prepare for the unexpected. You can expect Deus Ex Machinas such as a few universal OCs of mine to appear and to help me with ensuring that my favorite characters get to have a happy ending, while the bad guys(or the pieces of-ahem-characters I dislike)... well in the words of Sans from Undertale (I do not own by the way,) Have a bad time. Since i have no desire to have a little girl attempt to strangle me at night: A girl died in 1933. A man buried her when she was still alive. The murder chanted, "Toma Sota balcu," as he buried her. Now that you have read this chant, you will meet this little girl. In the middle of the night she will be on your ceiling. She will suffocate you like she was suffocated. If you post this on your profile, she will not bother you. Your kindness will be rewarded. You can thank Lothlorien-23 for this lol. |
