A terrible accident leaves three brothers reeling with grief and loss. But then, against all odds, what was lost is returned to them. Or is it? The Hamato clan soon learns that there is more than one way to lose a brother.

Jason stands between life and death- -that is to say, he stands on a familiar porch, faced for the second time with one final decision. This time, all he wants is to walk down the path and out the gates. Perhaps his family can convince him to wait just a little bit longer to leave.

Aizawa's two jobs are never the least dangerous ones nor the least stressful ones. He is used to getting close to no sleep, getting injured, or just being stressed out in general. He would just shrug it off and continue on, trying not to show any weakness. Aizawa's students however are determined to prove to him that they will wait for him as long as it takes until he feels better

"It was quiet. Almost quiet enough to make him go insane, but the sound of his subordinate still breathing next to him kept him from going crazy." This is about Leo's struggle to keep the truth hidden, and his brothers' attempt to rescue him from the dark powers of the Shredder.

When he learns that flying anywhere near a Dragon is a recipe for suicide, Harry tries a last minute change of tactics, one designed to use the power of the Bureaucracy forcing him to compete against itself. Little does he know that his solution is its own kind of trap.

Like everything else he did, Tommy bled out quickly.

After a routine bust, Batman, Nightwing, and the reluctantly-helpful Red Hood find themselves mysteriously witnessing the events of Jason's death and its immediate aftermath.
