A close-to-canon short story that imagines what happened between the pages - and during the summer - at the end of 'Anne of the Island', taking place from the time of Gilbert's near-death and recovery to his second proposal to Anne... and perhaps a little beyond! It begins at 'A Book of Revelation' and will feature the perspectives of both Anne and Gilbert.

History hinges on little things. A proposal averted, a football game that someone was not meant to attend. When Anne and Gilbert begin their junior year, a mishap of Blythe/Shirley proportions threatens to undo everything that the two of them have worked for. The only way to get out of the resulting mess is the same way they got into it- together.

What would happen if Gil didn't propose to Anne, but decided to learn more about her instead? An AU romance in which Anne and Gilbert learn how to love each other better, despite the obstacles in their way!

It was only a week before Gilbert would leave for Kingsport and not much more before Anne would go to Summerside herself - and yet, it could be nothing but the happiest week of their lives so far. The week when they got engaged. Shirbert, post Anne of the Island.

On her night of Revelation Anne realised she could no longer stay idle, resolving to write to her dearest, dying friend instead. Yes, she would write. She would write as if she would speak to him, openly and clearly, honestly and bravely. She would tell him everything he needed to know – everything she needed to tell. Even if he was never going to read it. Shirbert, books versed.

Anne regretted the way things were left after Gilbert proposed much sooner. Realising that Roy isn't right for her she is starting to ponder what is right around about the time of Diana's wedding. Ever the scientist, Gilbert sets out to show her what she's not seeing - love. Will a mutual change of attitude and a bit of fairy tale magic change the path of these two?

Golden Days is a collection of episodes that I imagine happened between the pages of Anne of Avonlea. Anne and Gil's deepening friendship had to have been a pretty amazing thing, and I always felt they deserved more page time! These are stand-alone chapters, and are not in chronological order. I am adding to these gradually, so you never know when one will pop up!

This is a short story based on what it would have taken to get Shore of Dreams to not happen- an AU from my Au that gets it all back to Canon while Gilbert has typhoid! A little "What If" that tickled me greatly.

After the death of Marilla, a broken Anne finds herself as the teacher at Four Winds, needing a new beginning. Gilbert has been the town's doctor since the death of his uncle, and finds himself now confronting his past and an Anne barely recognisable as the girl he once loved. Old feelings begin to resurface and the two of them must unravel the grief of the past to start again.

AU story that begins at the very end of Anne of Avonlea and imagines what might have happened if Anne had realized, at least in part, her feelings for Gilbert before they left for Redmond.

When Tomorrow Comes is the sequel to my AU, One More Day With You. It follows Anne and Gilbert after their engagement, until the summer after the two of them graduate. With prizes yet to be won and dreams to explore, Anne and Gilbert work together to prepare for whatever awaits them around the next bend in the road.

We know that Gilbert comes quite often to Green Gables after his recovery. But what exactly happened between him and Anne that gives him the courage to "try again."

L.M. Montgomery left much of Anne and Gilbert's relationship through all of the books to the imagination, with tantalizing little lines here and there. These stories will add some color to the empty spaces.
