Author has written 2 stories for Supernatural.

Hi, I'm Hanna, I'm from Europe and I've been writing stories all my life. But most of them I haven't written in English.

I've even tried writing for a living: I worked as a freelancing journalist, script author, director and editor for some years, and my big dream will always be working on a real film. Unfortunately this will stay a dream since I got fed up with working 24/7 shifts and still opening a chronically empty fridge. (The production companies I worked for just didn't pay me. Happens all the time in this business I found out.) So I changed my career to something more profitable and now I'm back to writing for fun.

After I finally found a publishing house that printed my first novel (a science fiction/fantasy crossover) I feel like I'm the happiest person in world. It's totally unknown and it's certainly not the best I could do, but hey, it's a start!

My favourite tv show is supernatural. Actually, it's the only one I've watched several times from the first episode to the latest. (I got the DVDs since here the last two seasons haven't been aired yet.) I'm a supernatural addict and I think there's an absolute great team working on this show. Since you can't watch season 7 in my country legally yet, I've been reading episode recaps but some months ago I stopped doing so. They kind of spoil the awe you feel when you watch these episodes. So I think I'm going to wait until the DVDs are out.

And I also LOVE languages. I think of them as windows opening into other cultures and other worlds. I've always wanted to learn as many languages as possible. So, in addition to English I've learned French and Latin at grammar school and Spanish and Dutch at university. I even tried learning Chinese for some time, but I gave up due to a lack of time. And because even my English is far from perfect yet.

I’m no native speaker, that's why I chose a non-native speaking narrator for my fanfiction story - just to be on the safe side...

Also, my English is so limited because I know much fewer synonyms for a word than I'd know if I wrote in my Native language. This really annoys me! But the only cure I know to this is reading as much as I can. And patience, since building up a decent active vocabulary will take time.

So, feel free to tell me if you notice some strange/unusual expressions. I'm writing because I want to improve and I really appreciate you telling me what you think about my English.

And wow - I even got some favs! And thank you so much for the reviews! I didn't expect them ALL to be that nice, but they are, at least up to now...

(But it's not that I couldn't cope with bad reviews, I mean, I kind of EXPECTED them, being no native speaker and all. And they can really help.)

Anyway, thank you so much for encouraging me to go on! Writing is much more fun when there are people reading the stuff AND liking it. :D

Again, THANK YOU for reviewing or replying of ANY kind!
