Huge Legend of Zelda fan, I've not written a lot of things but I'm trying to remember how to write, practice makes perfect so hopefully will get better as I write. Like most people I don't use my brain enough so writing is helping me use those brain cells more. First fic I'm writing is my own story of Skyward Sword, called Tears of Blue. When I'm a pro at writing, this'll get re-written into a better story.

Tears of Blue
(To be honest, it took me ages to think of the title) This is the story of Link and his life in Skyloft, this is many years after the Great War between the Goddess Hylia and Demise, who sought to take the Triforce and with it the world. Hylia prevented this by sending a few of the humans into the sky, along with a part of her to look after them (her Tear Stone) and part of the Triforce that they needed to guard. With them safely out the way and her last ounce of strength, legend goes that she defeated Demise and sealed him away, knowing he'd come back again some day. In the sky, the people are safe from anyone finding them, thanks to Hylia.
After that we follow Link as he interacts with the people of Skyloft and his huge red bird. He's generally highly liked, but a few don't like the fact he's the heir to the throne. After he falls to the surface he's bewildered at what's down there, being told all his life there is nothing on the Surface but a barren wasteland and death. However it's true that the Skyloftians know nothing about what happened after Hylia fought Demise and what became of her. She left behind a Tear Stone with magical properties and those in Skyloft are given a small piece of this stone which has magical properties which becomes very useful to them and their day to day life.
