Hermione walked towards the train station, she felt like a new person. Over the holidays Hermione had been through some changes to make her feel stronger and more confident. She had spent most of the summer down at the burrow with Ron and Harry, whilst she was there she had been drawn much closer to one of her best friends Harry Potter so close that in the end they started dating then after a couple of weeks Harry had asked Hermione to be his girlfriend. Hermione was thrilled with this and accepted at once, Hermione really loved her boyfriend but she still felt a little awkward around Ron. But being Harry's girlfriend had boosted her confidence considerably.
As Hermione steppend onto the train she caught Draco Malfoy's eye, he was surrounded buy drooling girls as usual Hermione just ignored him and continued to heave her trunk up onto the train, after all he had put her through for the past couple of years she didn't even want to look at him.

Draco saw Hermione look at him as she was boarding the train, ' woh she's done a bit of growing up' he thought ' look at that arse in those jeans. Wait what the hell was he doing this was Hermione Granger ! '
He pushed the girls out of his way and headed for the train, making sure Hermione wasn't out of his sight for less the a second.
