Love vs. Sex

A teenage girl about 17 had gone to visit
some friends one
evening
and time passed quickly as each shared
their
various experiences of the past year.

She ended up staying longer than
planned,
and
had to walk home alone. She wasn't
afraid
because it was a small town and she lived
only
a
few blocks away.

As she walked along under the tall elm
trees,
Diane asked God to keep her safe from
harm
and
danger.

When she reached the alley, which was a
short
cut to her house, she decided to take it.

However, halfway down the alley she
noticed
a
man standing at the end as though he
were
waiting
for her.

She became uneasy and began to pray,
asking
for
God's protection.

Instantly a comforting feeling of quietness
and
security wrapped round her, she felt as
though
someone was walking with her.

When she reached the end of the alley,
she
walked right past the man and arrived
home
safely.

The following day, she read in the
newspaper
that
a young girl had been raped in the same
alley
just
twenty minutes after she had been there.

Feeling overwhelmed by this tragedy and
the
fact
that it could have been her, she began to
weep.

Thanking the Lord for her safety and to
help
this
young woman, she decided to go to the
police
station.

She felt she could recognize the man, so
she
told
them her story.

The police asked her if she would be
willing to
look
at a lineup to see if she could identify
him.

She agreed and immediately pointed out
the
man
she had seen in the alley the night
before.

When the man was told he had been
identified,
he
immediately broke down and confessed.

The officer thanked Diane for her bravery
and
asked if there was anything they could do
for
her.

She asked if they would ask the man one
question.

Diane was curious as to why he had not
attacked
her.

When the policeman asked him, he
answered, "Because she wasn't alone.
She
had
two tall men walking on either side of
her."

Amazingly, whether you believe or not,
you're
never alone. Did you know that 98 of
teenagers
will not stand up for God?

The mexican man turned around, stood up and said," Listen pedejo, when I was born I was BROWN, when I grew up I was BROWN, when I'm sick I'm BROWN, when I go into the sun I'm BROWN, when I'm cold I'm BROWN, and when I die I'm gonna be BROWN! But you pendejo, when you're born your PINK, when you grow up you're WHITE, when you're sick you're GREEN, when you go into the sun you turn RED, and when you're cold you turn PURPLE, and when you die you're BLUE! And you have the nerve to call me colored?! CHINGA TU MADRE PUTO!!

If you hate racism put this on your file. And be be proud of the color of your skin, no matter what color it is!

I'm not the kind of person who will change because someone else wants me to. I'm not the knid of person who runs away when things get tough. I'm not the kind of person who hides from the world because they're scared of it. I'm not the kind of person who will stand by and watch others suffer. I'm not the kind of person who sits around and does nothing when someone tries pushing others around. What kind of person am I? I am who I am, and i will never change. When something tough tries bringing me down I meet it half way and I beat it. When something scary gets in my face, I smile and say" bring it on!" When someone is suffering I run and throw myself in front of them. When someone gets pushed around I push the other person around until they back off. This is who I am. I fight for others and never myself.

In my one moment of weakness, I realized just how strong I had become. In my moment of darkness, I saw the light that had been lost. One glance back, and I saw how far I had walked.

.A normal guy would say: “I love you Baby!”

“Well, I wasn’t going to live without you..” He rolled his eyes as if that fact were childishly obvious...but I wasn’t sure how to do it. I knew Emmett and Jasper would never help so I was thinking maybe I would go to Italy and do something to provoke the Volturi.”

As you leave the house, a normal guy would say: “Bye, see ya!”
As you leave the house Edward Cullen would say: “Come back to me, love.”

He smiled my favorite smile. “Hurry back to me.”
“Always.”

As you come back to the house: a normal guy would be watching TV and wouldn’t even notice.
As you come back to the house: Edward Cullen would be welcoming you by playing the piano with a song just for you.

“I heard the music before I was out of the car. Edward hadn’t touched his piano since the night Alice left. Now, as I shut the door, I heard the song morph through a bridge and change into my lullaby. Edward was welcoming me home."

A normal guy: would wait for you to make him breakfast.
Edward Cullen: would make you breakfast everyday.

While you are both out for dinner: a normal guy wouldn’t keep his eyes off the sexy waitress.
Edward Cullen: wouldn’t even notice the waitress was a female.

A normal guy: while driving, would keep one hand on the wheel and one hand on the radio.
Edward Cullen: while driving, would keep one hand on the wheel and the other attached to yours.

While far apart in different places, a normal guy would say: “I miss you.”
While far apart in different places, Edward Cullen would say: “It’s like you’ve taken half myself with you”

A normal guy: wouldn’t care or notice if you had nightmares.
Edward Cullen: would sing until your nightmares went away.
“Do you want me to sing to you? I’ll sing all night if it will keep the bad dreams away.”

A normal guy: does it with everyone.
Edward Cullen: only does it with one.

A normal guy: buys you flowers and chocolates.

Two traveling angels stopped to spend the night in the home of a
wealthy family.

The family was rude and refused to let the angels stay in the
mansion’s guest room. Instead the angels were given a small
space in the cold basement.

As they made their bed on the hard floor, the older angel saw a hole in
the wall and repaired it. When the younger angel asked why, the older
angel replied, “Things aren’t always what they seem.”

The next night the pair came to rest at the house of a very poor,
but very hospitable farmer and his wife. After sharing what little food
they had the couple let the angel sleep in their bed where they could
have a good night’s rest.

When the sun came up the next morning the angels found the farmer and his

“Things aren’t always what they seem,” the older angel replied.
“When we stayed in the basement of the mansion, I noticed there was
gold stored in that hole in the wall. Since the owner was so obsessed
with greed and unwilling to share his good fortune, I sealed the wall
so he wouldn’t find it.” Then last night as we slept in the farmers bed,
the angel of death came for his wife. I gave him the cow instead. Things
aren’t always what they seem.”

Sometimes that is exactly what happens when things don’t turn out
the way they should. If you have faith, you just need to trust that
every outcome is always to your advantage. You might not know it until
some time later…

I am the girl that doesn't go to school dances, or games, and when I do go, I sit in a corner and read a book.
I am the girl that people look through when I say something.
I am the girl that spends most of her free time reading, writing, or doing other activities that most teenagers wouldn't call normal.
I am the girl that people call weird and a freak either behind my back or to my face.
I am the girl that doesn't spend all her time on MySpace, or talking to a girlfriend on a cell phone or regular phone.
I am the girl that hasn't been asked out in a year.
I am the girl that has stopped to smell the flowers and jump and splash in the rain.
BUT I am also the girl who knows and is proud to be who she is,
doesn’t care if people call her weird (it's a compliment),
who loves reading and writing and doing the things that no one seems to have the time to do any more,
who loves and is obsessed with Twilight,
who can express herself better with words than actions,
who doesn't need a guy to complete her,
and knows the importance of the little things.
