I'm a recently graduated college kid, who is trying to figure out what in the world I'm supposed to do with the rest of my life. Fairly easy isn't it?

Below will be an up-to-date chronological order of the "Harbor" series. Just in case someone stumbles onto a later story, is really confused and wishes to find out what's going on. I hope you enjoy!

HARBOR SERIES: STORY ORDER

1. Harbor - AU - Jedi Knight Qui-Gon Jinn goes on a mission to retrieve a force sensitive child. Past actions affect the present and the young Jedi will never be the same. Qui-Gon as a young Jedi Knight before Xanatos. (Complete)

2. Affinity - AU - Sequel to "Harbor" - After a chance encounter with a youngling, Qui-Gon Jinn begins to find a better life for himself, but tragedy threatens to steal away Qui-Gon's chances at happiness. (Approximately 4 years old.) (Complete)

3. Chronicle - AU - 3rd in the "Harbor" series - As Obi-Wan Kenobi and Amber Jinn enter the final stages of their Temple training, tragedy strikes the Senate. The Order stands accused of a crime and the Temple is placed on lock-down, amid calls for the Jedi to disband. (Approximately 10 years old.) (Complete)

4. Break Faith - AU - 4th in the "Harbor" series - Qui-Gon Jinn is broken after losing Xanatos, vowing never to take another Padawan. The Force, Yoda and two initiates cause him to question that vow, but the decision may be stolen from him when tragedy strikes an old friend. (Approximately 12 years old.) (Complete)

5. Through the Paces - AU - 5th in the "Harbor" series - As Qui-Gon Jinn struggles to find his way as a Master to his new apprentices, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Amber Jinn, an uncompleted prerequisite from his own days as a Padawan comes back to plague him. (13 years old.)

Just in case anyone is interested, the germ of these stories started when I was watching "The Phantom Menace." It always seemed to me that in the scene where Qui-Gon Jinn tells the Council that he will train Anakin, whether they like it or not, the Council seemed extremely ticked off at him, but not necessarily surprised. One of the ties that bind this particular lineage of Jedi (Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, Anakin, Luke) is that they do things that are not necessarily sanctioned by the rules.

It made me wonder what the heck else these boys got up to between and before the movies and that is where the beginnings of the "Harbor" series came from. I felt like, close to the end of the Republic, bending the code was probably much more common than we see. In "Attack of the Clones," there's a scene where Obi-Wan, Mace and Yoda talk about how different this new generation of Jedi are. (Though I would argue that Obi-Wan and Mace where part of that generation, I doubt they would ever admit that.) The Sith just pushed along the destruction of a crumbling structure that already existed in both the Senate and the Jedi. Change and progress were needed, but never enacted. As a result, I decided to play around with some of those ideas and write some stories. : )

1. Bound Shores - Problems arise during a Jedi mission on Tranusdra. Master Qui-Gon Jinn is dispatched to assist Jedi Knight Tahl in her mission to calm a fearful populace and negotiate with a group of squabbling politicians. But, all is not as it seems when dangerous enemies lurk in every shadow.

OK. I have trashed three outlines for this story and it has now turned into something completely different than what it started out as. I think I know what I want to do with it now, but it will take a bit to completely plan out the story line, so please give it some time. I hope to start back on it soon!
