Author has written 5 stories for Circle of Magic, Song of the Lioness, Protector of the Small Quartet, Trickster series, and Buffy: The Vampire Slayer. I guess I ought to write a little about me having been a rather inactive member of ff.net for a while now. I'm Kati, English and recent graduate of a Masters degree in Writing i.e. I'm currently scraping by working in the thrilling world of finance while I attempt to write something vaguely publishable. My screen name is an X-Men reference, my homepage is a Buffy-verse RPG but virtually all of my fanfic here hails from Tamora Pierce books. Go figure. I don't write fanfic very often, and when I do it's usually as a result of being challenged at the Dancing Dove, p213.ezboard.com/bthedancingdove My loyalty lies with Emelan, although I am certainly not anti-Tortall, The Immortals being my favourite quartet from that 'verse. Roger's VSD is Tortall (obviously), as is Where Love Has No Place. The first chapter of WLHNP was written for Edie in the Dancing Dove Spring Fanfiction Exchange 2004 - she requested anything about Kalasin. It's now my work in progress and to anyone who is waiting, I'm sorry. I'm tediously slow with these things. Landfall's Letter was another gift ficlet, this time for ubiquitous girl at Christmas 2004. She asked for a pairing between Aly and someone else pre-Trickster's Choice. Just Fine is my sole Emelan piece here, although I have another under the Dancing Dove pen name. It houses a collection of ficlets written for the Christmas Gift Exchange 2003 and mine is here. It was written for Cami who quite disturbingly requested a Sandry/Niko fic. I think she was trying to think of a ridiculous pairing. Believe me when I say the notion still makes me shudder. Finally, my one and only Buffy-fic, Lovers' Talk is a simple piece exploring Cordy's and Oz's friendship, just after the episode "Lovers' Walk". I have a second chapter planned that is set after "Wild at Heart" but whether I write it or not is another matter entirely. Anyway, that's more than enough about me, all that remains to be said is please don't judge me on the atrocious titles - I lack that skill. On with the fanfiction. |
