Things about me:

I love to read fanfiction, enough said. I have lurked in FF.net since it was in its infancy and just now decided to create a username to leave signed reviews because having to type my name all the time in review boxes are just now getting on my nerves.

I do NOT like slash stories... though having said that, I have no problems with canon slash pairings as they are canon and the original story's author made them... but to see non-canon slash stories of characters I actually like disturb me... especially slash stories of a very twisted nature (i.e. slash pairings of young kids along books like Harry Potter, incest slash, etc), they are just plain wrong. Freedom to write is one thing, abusing such freedom by writing that kind of filthy perversion demeans the original work that you made a fan fiction out of. AU may be AU and fan fiction may be fan fiction... and they may be interpreted in a lot of different ways, but perversion is never misinterpreted... its still perversion, no two-ways about it, or how much you sugar-coat it. Also, always let readers before-hand know that you're writing a slash story with the appropriate rating... those that don't even do so are aiming to be trolled...

I like well written stories. I like a ones with a good plot, and am amazed at how some authors here can actually weave a good tale that sometimes outshine the original author's work - former FF.net author Fettucini with a story called Knowledge is Power - for example... and works by Andrejameswilliams, Apocalypse Thou, Albert-G, The Dark Scribbler, etc.

I am open minded, but up to a point... common sense, logic, and open creativity is nice... but, doing something belying basic sense of right and wrong ticks me off. I'm a bit of a harsh critic/reviewer... but I do try to soften it a little by giving some constructive advice while at it... I don't blast people needlessly without giving a good reason.
