What you can expect from me as an author: Sticks to canon like glue, and, even according to others, creates good OC's. Mary Sues? For the love of all that is holy, NO.

Pet Peeves:
- Authors who can't take criticism
- Authors who refuse to use spell/grammar check and therefore render their fics indeciperable by the best of us and still expect good reviews
- Canon rape/Mary Sues in general

Update: 12/20/04
Well, you may have noticed I haven't posted anything else after finishing TRAS. I do have a few projects going, but nothing will be posted for some time or at least until one is near completion.
Here's what I'm working on:
-Legacy of Scamander (title pending) This one's a Harry Potter fic but has nothing to do with the canon plot, only the world itself. Francine Scamander is the great-great-great niece of Newt Scamander, author of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. He's working on the fifty-third edition, but being over 100 years old he's not as spry as he used to be. Fran is volunteered by her parents to go out into the wide world and do field studies for the new book. She'll meet up with another OC, probably.
-Where the Sky is High (title pending) LotR fic; takes place loooooong after the books. I haven't got much of a plot down yet, but it will involve two young OC's (one's a girl who is never quite there, the other one may be a girl as well), an older brother, a biplane, and Earendil's ship. Yeah; sounds really odd, but it's grown on me.
-Bored in Fornost (cont.) I haven't really typed substantially more yet, but I have a more definite idea of where it's going. I add to it from time to time. It's fun to write because it's so relaxed; no quest, no definite enemy, no angst. Ahhhh. Ya know, angst gets on my nerves. For the life of me I cannot read angst fics. I suppose I'm just not that dark a person.

Random Thought: Hmmm. You know, it really figures that a lot of the authors who post here are girls in the middle of puberty. At a point in your life when your mood swings constantly, your judgement isn't the best, and your ego is incredibly fragile, exposing yourself to the harsh, inhospitable world by posting potentially flame-getting fics is probably the worst thing you could do.
