"I don't need it," Peeta says firmly. "I don't want anything from you." And it's not true, there are things he wants from Katniss; her smile, her laugh, her warm breath on his neck, her body moving beneath his in the dark. But he doesn't want them as part of an exchange. He thought they made an odd pair, the two of them. The oddness, he thought sadly, surely rested with him. Katniss thought they were perfect. He was perfect. Modern day AU.

Katniss returns to her hometown the summer after graduating college. With a little stumbling, a lot of baked goods, and some pushing from a couple of blonds, Peeta may finally find the courage to form a sentence in her presence. Modern Day AU.

She thinks she's found the perfect title to describe their relationship, but Peeta changes her mind. Again. Maybe even forever. "Don't. Don't hide." KxP. M, rated for adult situations. Complete.

"She's perfect." Peeta declares, his own tears coming down his cheeks. Katniss turns to him, happiness and love and pure joy on her face. No fear. No pain. This is what their daughter has already done for her. A 2 shot about Katniss' first pregnancy.

Pre-epilogue Mockingjay. How Katniss and Peeta slowly pick up the pieces and begin again. My version of a fourth book for the Hunger Games series. Secret toastings, lots of plotting, crass drunk Haymitch and even a cake scene.

"That's Katniss Everdeen," he says. "That's the Mockingjay's daughter, Peeta." AU.

"I have a secret for you," he says, his breath warm against her cheek. "The top floor," he whispers. "If you hurry, you might be able to stop it." AU. Katniss makes a deal with Snow that changes everything.

"But whatever the reason, if you are pregnant, would it be so bad?" post-Mockingjay.

If another person tells him who he is really supposed to be, he might tear his own ears off. post-Mockingjay.

Dr. Aurelius had encouraged her to develop routines. Routines were good. Routines could make her feel better. Post-Mockingjay, pre-epilogue.

Following their return to District 12 after the war, Katniss and Peeta grow back together.

AU. Take a deep breath. Wipe the sweat off your hands. Don't let her scowl make you nervous. You're only talking to the girl you've been in love with your entire life.

One-shot: Katniss and Peeta are reunited in District 13. He's not hijacked and seeing him again makes her realize how much she cares about him. Fluff.

Katniss' father never died, so her life has been different in some ways. She and Peeta are better acquainted by the time the 74th Hunger Games take place, which leads to many changes for them.

One-shots, set after the last lines of pre-epilogue "Mockingjay." Katniss finally realizes how important Peeta is to her. Fluffy.

AU: Johanna and Gale spend time together in District 13.

Katniss and Peeta are both rescued by the rebels at the end of the Quarter Quell, resulting in various changes in their story. Begins with alternate "Catching Fire" ending.

Post-CF. Peeta is rescued from the Capitol by Katniss and her band of rebels; however, after months of torture it is unknown if he will survive. It is also unknown if Katniss will survive if he doesn't. Majority written prior to the publication of MJ.

In the ruins of District 12, Peeta struggles against the cold that seems to have settled all around him. When he is visited at the bakery by Gale, his doubts only worsen. Still, there may be warmth left for him to find in District 12. Peeta/Katniss

Katniss and Peeta in the weeks and months after the war.

"...As I watch the strong lines of his arms and the way they steadily hold that brush to create beautiful things, my stomach churns with acidic butterflies, and I think, real or not real?" Katniss embraces being the girl on fire at last. Pre-Epi. M.

Post-Mockingjay/ pre-epilogue. An expansion of Katniss and Peeta rediscovering each other.

This is a missing moment from Mockingjay and, as such, contains spoilers for all three books. This is how I imagine Peeta and Katniss grew back together, and how Katniss was able to finally come to terms with her emotions in the final lines of the book.
